Reading in between classes honestly helped me get through so many audiobooks. I remember having a 3 hour gap twice a week where I'd just eat lunch and listen to whatever book I had online
Yes! I always had to get to campus early to find a parking spot, so for an hour or two I’d just read to the point where professors knew me as the book girl!
@@StoriesForCoffee I love that! The only prof who ever noticed wasn't even mine, but he'd leave his class to walk his dog and I'd be sitting in the hallway with headphones. Luckily, I'd always get to pet his dog
omg yes when I lived with my mum I would sit in the front room and read/watch tv at the same time and people thought I was weird 😅 A stranger asked me what I was reading on the train once and I was so shocked I just showed them the cover and carried on reading 😂🙈

Our habits are so different in some points ahaha 😂 it was so interesting hearing your preferences! The only reason I buy bookmarks is because when I (used to😭) travel that’s what I always get myself as a souvenir 🥰
I split my genres too when I read more than one book at a time and I tend to do the same with reading a non-fiction and either a fantasy or something else.
I love free bookmarks! I have bought a bookmark or two from time to time only because they were not just pieces of paper and they have awesome designs. I am sure you would appreciate a high quality book mark that has "Don't judge a book by its movie" written on it.
I feel the same way about reading more than one book at the same time, I usually have one long book and then read one or two short ones in between when I want to take a break from the long one. I think it actually helps me digest the info from the longer one better because my subconscious can think about it in the background
@@StoriesForCoffee I don't buy them either. Making one myself is more fun and also costs nothing! Also, friends & family gift me with bookmarks all the time. I think I'm covered in the bookmark department!
Ohhhh my god people CONSTANTLY tell me off for dog eating and breaking the spine or annotating like it makes it easier for me to read if it’s more compact and like bent in half and it feels like distinctly mine ???
I use to dog ear then I stopped for a while and now I do it again haha! I hate losing my book mark then having to find my spot. If my dog ear unfolds I can find the crease easily. More practical. I also like the idea of finding the old creases in used books and thinking someone took a break here. It's charming haha!

I also used to read the last page of a book when I was young. Thank goodness I stopped doing that.

The only bookmarks I own came with book of the month boxes 😂 otherwise it’s folding the page or a piece of paper, a remote, a greeting card, whatever.

I find that if I read with lots of people and noice around me I can’t focus on the book so I usually try to read in a quiet room if I can.
