Crona was the only character I've been compared to irl. It was mostly when I was young like 13. I was just super traumatized 😅 like still in therapy for cptsd at 24 traumatized

Crona is the child of an evil witch named Medusa, Crona has been abused, neglected and treated horribly their whole life by Medusa, being forced to do things like kill rabbit just to not get locked in a dark room for hours, they had a melted down living demon sword infused with their blood causing them to have black blood and a demon inside them that constantly bullies them, Medusa does all this with the goal of turning Crona into a being like the Kishin aka Asura, the Kishin is basically a being of pure fear and madness born when Death himself ripped out all of his fear and turned it into a living being, because of everything Medusa did Crona is constantly anxious and scared and struggles to form connections and only knows how to deal with things by killing them and listening to Medusa
They're meant to be gender ambiguous in the original manga but the anime made alot of changes to the source material and is basically a completely different story past the halfway point and one of the things they changed was Crona's gender making them make
