Dude I was actually looking up videos on GS 350 F-Sports because my 2018 sounds like that when I start it too. Got her about a month ago. Swore it was a dying engine😂😂
Ahhh I knew what I was getting into. So when I heard it I wasn’t surprised but the vacuum pump on this car adds another level of loudness.

I have a 2019 Fsport ultra white with triple beam lights and ML. I know it sounds crazy but what you dislike the most is one of the things that I like. I like that it is a little higher. Helps with visibility. I understand that a lower car helps with aerodynamics, but I am not racing in a track. IAs far as inside the cabin, I really like the Mark Levinson. At home I have turntable and vinyl. I have always fiddled with sound equipment. The reason I say this is because the mouse doesn't bother me as much as others. What would really bother me is a mediocre sound. Whatever playlist I need, I would have set up before I leave. So I these things are but a mild inconvenience to me. I am looking for a second practical suv. I like the NX450h+ but I won't get it because you can't get it with the ML audio. That's how much I like it.
Yesss! The ML is amazing in this car. I've heard mixed reviews on it while Acura's ELS was widely praised. I was so confused when I had my Acura. I'm jealous of the triple LEDS! It's a hidden gem option that mostly GS owners will appreciate lol.
@@EddieGS350 yes indeed the triple beings really make the car stand out. I don't like that Lexus does that. I believe those lights should be standard on higher trims.

Honestly outside of some standard features you get on new models the 15s are rumored to handle way better. If you like the styling of the 15 and can get the options you want. 100% go for it.
I have to ask!!! Where did you get those headrest pillows from? I can’t locate them are they soft?
Haha I’m glad you like them cause not too many people do. They deff make the car stand outside even when viewed from the outside. I got these in Chinatown in LA.
Make sure to check/clean the lower radiator air baffle. If it gets clogged up with bugs, leaves, and road dirt it can easily cause a overheat in the summer. Can open the top plastic cover to gain access. I used the foaming ac spray normally used to clean home ac unit baffles. Works great and had to spray out the caked on debris with the water hose. I’d put this one on normal maintenance and please check this after buying a one cause the person before me didn’t clean it out. Also for good measure replaced the water temp sensor on the top of the radiator cause it’s pretty easy and supposed to be replaced every 100 k. Most used gs350 sold at 100 k. .

Cool man people should know about that so that’s awesome if you investigate it.. I caught mine well in advance on a very hot day. Not even people might not look at the temp gauge. If the car overheats could really cook the motor. I thought it was the thermostat which I immediately changed. After that tried the car again and started to be 75% so I went back and I remember my baffles on my home ac unit I used the foam cleaner and did work better. After looking from the front lower grill into radiator seen caked on the lower ledge so I hosed that out and the home ac cleaner foam worked great. I did remove the plastic top cover for better access. Had to replace a few clips but that’s normal. After cleaning the radiator it wasn’t the thermostat and that caked up stuff was the culprit. Love our GS350 and Toyota family cars. Never heard of a car overheating due to plugged up air baffle on a radiator though. So I’m not sure if people know to check it. Thanks
I have a 2020 GS 350 Fsport and love it! However there are a few things i absolutely hate,
1. The vibration from the door panels and overhead console when playing music with alot of bass
2. The transmission is a bit jerky in stop and go traffic
3. The auto headlights takes a bit too long to activate when entering dark areas such as a parking lot or tunnel.
Ahhh i didn’t even mention the trans cause I figured people would think I’m crazy. You got the 8 speed too? It can be jerky. Act a bit strange when cold. And gears feel way too tall. Great car overall but at least Lexus owners can admit the shortcomings lol.
@Eddie GS 350 No I have the 6 speed. Yep its a great overall car. Perfect blend of sports and luxury. Lexus really screwed up discontinuing the GS. I feel like if they spent time upgrading the tech it would have been more competitive in the market. It's great having a car you don't see often on the roads
@@slya5720 have you drained and filled the transmission fluid? I did mine with Amsoil signature and it fixed the jerkiness.
@@slya5720 I noticed the vibration from the door panel on mine is when it has something in it that rattles around, not the actual door panel for mine.
there is an option for how sensitive the auto headlights to be. stock is medium, but you can adjust the setting in the infotainment, just look around. and def do a trans drain and fill if you haven't already.
Mine is clean white like yours. I like decals & 💩 but for some reason I can't find anything to add without compromising the 'clean' look... It's frustrating lol
Hahaha yeah. They came out looking good from the factory. A subtle lip would look good for sure!
Use Amsoil Signature Series oil and do a fuel system cleaner like Redline to get rid of the engine noise. Usually that works and helps make the car last longer.
Yeah I bought some penzoil ultra cause I got an oil change coming up. Will try Amsoil for sure if this doesn’t quiet it lol.
@@EddieGS350 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is second best so that's a good choice too as long as you're changing it every 6 months/ 5k miles. With Amsoil Signature you can go longer (1 year) according to oil analysis tests done. Amsoil is the only one that's 100% synthetic.
I changed the infotainment to andriod unit and i love it.
Ahh nice man. It’s on my list of things to do but trying to save money for important things.

I have a 2017 AWD and love it! I get the infotainment thing, but the rest are pretty much nit picking. But, one man' s dislikes are his so my evaluation is worth what you paid for it. ;-)
Yeahhh. Just goes to show that if my biggest complaints are these little things and not major drivetrain issues. It’s an awesome car 😁
The most annoying thing about your Lexus are those headrest pillows.

Dude i hate my monster truck ass fitment i cannot wait to lower mine 😭 Ive had it for months and i still even feel like i dont truly love it yet cause its still so stock but i know once i get the wheel setup i want and fitment im gonna love this car so much
Ohhh man, you just gave me flashbacks to how I felt when I first got my car. I can confirm after reading your comment, lowering the car has been my fav mod for sure. I feel like I have a normal drive position when I drive my car now. Before I felt like I was in an SUV lol. The GS looks so good lowered. Not sure if you watched the RSR Down Vid but I tried to get some good shots and driveway action in that vid lol.
Thanks for your videos 🤝 I have 2016 f sport gs350 same thing with engine noise on a cold start and it has run for 260k and going strong 💪 The thing what’s annoying me the most is some rumbling sound coming somewhere from the roof top at the back 😬🤔 could not figure out just yet where it is coming from, any one have this problem? 🙏 please share if you got a fix 🙌🤝
I had very similar rumbling with my is250 2010 and it was from inside the skylight, there was a plastic part which had jumped off it’s place and was rumbling, and I was able to click it back in place 😊, but couldn’t find same thing on my GS no much access in the skylight and most of inside all covered with rubber.
Ahhh thank you man. It means a lot. If you hold up on the sunroof while driving does it still rumble? If that stops it might have to replace the seal :(
Or just throw a peice of thin rubber up there lol

Ahh, the infamous visor! I own a Lexus RCF and the visor is pretty much useless, lol!
Yeah an aftermarket one is in the works. (After coilovers and some other mods) will make a video on it. Never really heard people complain about it till now lol.
You can retro fit Apple CarPlay in these , the dealer can do it for you I believe it’s around 200-400

It's surprising how freaking loud all these Lexus V6s are at cold start...The racket is actually quite embarrassing....
They do settle down significantly once warmed up...but still ticks abit loud...
I tell myself it's the sound of reliability . . . . 😆

You do know these cars have a high pressure duel fuel system port and direct injection my 2014 GS 350 F Sport sounds just fine @ 144,000 mi...

My 2015 AC smells moldy during the summer time
Ahh dude same here! Had to buy some japanese mold killer. I poured it down the AC intake in front of the windshield. 90% better.
Change your cabin air filter, keep the vents under the hood/near the windshield clean. I mean no leafs , no tiny bits of stuff, Clean. Also clean your sunroof drains
Try to swtich it to no to recirculate the air so much, on every trip before shuting it off, press the fresh air button a few miles before stoping. It's annoying, but condensation on the evaporator will cause mold and mildew.
My 2016 don’t make any noise like that

You can adjust the sensitivity to the stick, also GS always got the tech late.

When you said about the engine how noisy they are I started laughing. I recentley bought used 16 rc 350 f sport and after some time having the car i started really noticing the engine sound on a cold start. Thought somethin was wrong lol. took it to dealer 3 times complaining about noise lol. They said thats how they are, what do want me tix, nothing is wrong with your car😂
2GR-FKS problems lol. Yeah you get used to it and stop worrying after a while. Still bothers me tho. Enjoy the car 😃 my IS was super noisy but never burned a drop of oil. I took that car from 50k-120k miles.
Yeah, its the direct injection system that makes them noisy, compared to the earlier FSE. When the engine is running on the port injectors only it is much quieter. All DI engines are loud, inherent in their design. I noticed it especially at idle.@@EddieGS350
The ticking noise is the high pressure fuel pump for the direct injection system
