    This Sesame Street is just perfect! I loved the interaction all around! Is not Disney’s kind of immersion but is for kids so it’s perfect

    This is good for children and the interactive elements look cool and the whole land looks pretty immersive, but I think this was a missed opportunity to add a family-friendly dark ride for Sesame Street as most of these rides you can find a type at any other basic amusement prk

      Well, there IS gonna be a SS dark ride, only in some international park.

      I believe this dark ride that you mentioned going to an international park would be the perfect addition for Sesame Place in Pennsylvania. They should really consider it

      I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to add a dark ride but didn’t have the budget to do it.

      They did leave a big plot of land for expansion so hopefully it happens in the future.

    I wasn't paying attention to construction for this because I thought it'd be a lousy retheme of Happy Harbor. But it actually looks like an immersive themed experience of the real Sesame Street was created in addition to tastefully retheming the happy harbor rides. SeaWorld Orlando can only get better from here!!

    • @gissneric

    • @rckblzr
      @rckblzr 5 лет назад

      @Philip Kippel Let's be honest: Disney doesn't care about the Muppets anymore and is just waiting for an excuse to pull the plug on them at Hollywood Studios. The fact that they opened up Muppets Courtyard in 2016, only to backtrack it a year later by absorbing it Grand Avenue shows they don't intend on keeping it around much longer.

    I feel like this project was rushed. They could have done way more in terms of immersion. The rides are alright but at least put in a dark ride. The parade was the only good thing. This is not something I would book a family trip for just to see.

    • @rckblzr
      @rckblzr 5 лет назад +6

      Do you think the kids in this video care about immersion? They're the target audience and clearly they love it!

    • @gissneric
      @gissneric 5 лет назад +2

      @@rckblzr Toy Story land target audience was kids but adults loved it too. Both Sesame Street and Toy Story have adults who grew up watching them. At least make them for the whole family not just kids. The rides here are purely for kids. If they put a dark ride in there, the whole family would enjoy that more.

    • @rckblzr
      @rckblzr 5 лет назад +13

      @@gissneric You're comparing apples and oranges. Disney has enough money that they they can spend hundreds of millions on whatever they want. SeaWorld doesn't get that luxury and has to work with much smaller budgets. That's like comparing a high school play to one on Broadway.
      For what they had to work with, SeaWorld seems to have done a good job. No, no one is going to book a trip for this. It's a project (and park for that matter) that primarily draws locals who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to go to Disney where the lines for all the rides and character encounters are over an hour. The park desperately needed an area where kids could have fun with iconic characters and now they have one.

    • @jerminator0688
      @jerminator0688 5 лет назад

      No one books a family trip JUST to go to SeaWorld. That’s not how it works. Disney has brought everyone here since day 1. Now, people book a trip here to do everything. Disney, Universal AND SeaWorld (and everything else Orlando has to offer.) So people end up here one way or another.
