I listened to Gold City every time I was in the car when I was little. I miss it so much!
this song so much describes me i am shy alot but i know that when i reach them gates i will be heard for a million years i am so glad i know JESUS
Wonderful song ,!!!Thank you God!!! THAT DAY CANT BE FAR AWAY!!!JUST SEE THE SIGNS?
I love this song....and Gold City...I await the Trumpets of The Lord in the Sky!!! This song gets me all hyped up and ready, dancing and singing Praises to The Lord!!!God Bless Gold City!!!!!
when this group was together it was the BEST!!!!
My favorite lineup of Gold City were these 4!
A Lot of Positives in This Song and is Good / Filled with Joy ! Soulful !
The classic lineup, no doubt about it.
My favorite gospel song of all time. Never heard it till a few months ago. I was instantly hooked. Love this song
Haha gold city will never have another tenor like Brian free
This is one of the first groups I listened to way back in the 80 I LOVE THE WAY THEY put their all into the singing.
We said our final goodbye to my Poppaw during hurricane Sandy. I don't think it was a storm at all--he was letting the glory roll!
was this back in the '80s? i almost didn't recognize ivan! good singing!
Mom and dad had most all their cassettes and we’d listen to them in the car when I was little
Someday I'm gonna hear jesus sayJohn come on upAnd I'm gonna getCarried away
Its amazing how much Mike LeFevre looks like Dave Coulier from Full House. :-)
Poor Mike! He was a very good Baritone, but how could he not get lost in among Ivan, Tim, and Brian? Great group!
Jkdm 76 So Right
He didn't get lost here! They made sure he got to lead sometimes.
Brian Free is a very good tenor I also like Tim Riley as the bass.
Come to find out, Brian Free is the most awarded Tenor in all of Southern Gospel History!
Nothing like quartet and piano and bass!
haaaa, the turners are so excellent
very true!
i have often wondered why they did not Mike sing more than what they did he has a wonderful voice
He was a baritone. They're not the lead part. But GC did give everyone in the group a lead song sometimes. Even Tim, with " Who But God".
The other version from 1986 blows this version away. This video is drastically missing drums. Watch and see if you don't agree
👩👩👧👦
Was this recorded at Heritage USA on Campmeeting or PTL Club?
Heritage USA
um best tenor is jay parrack haha
i think jay and steve were good.... chris was ok
Who are you talking about? Nobody on stage had those names. That's Tim, Mike, Ivan & Brian.
they are saving money by not going to barbers.
Are you serious? Lol... They looked wonderful! Now all the young guys wear beards, & I think they look so ugly.
Mike is good but not as good as Mark Trammell
