I took a African Ancestry DNA test which states I am 100% Mali from the Taureg tribe in Northern Mali! I want to visit Northern Mali one day to meet the people from my ancestral tribe. The more I research the Taureg tribe in Mali I find out they are strong warriors, rebels, survivors who are willing to fight for their land, independence and freedom. I blessed to have ancestral relations to the Taureg People! I am proud of the Taureg People!
Hi I’m French and my parents are Malian my mom bambara Andy dad Soninke and my ancestries are tuareg and songhaï. The Tuareg tribe is a really beautiful tribe and rich in culture and they are peaceful . But I think that with everything happening in Mali it would be dangerous to go to the north of Mali. But it would really make me happy to know that someone want to visit Mali it’s really beautiful even me I couldn’t visit every place of Mali.

Mali has amazing music! I'm not sure if this is correct, but I heard that the government of Mali invested a lot of money into the country's music scene. I would recommend this band from the 70s called "l'orchestre kanaga de mopti"

I visited mali last year in Bamako. It's not as clean cut as this video suggests. I never saw one Malian in a band, there is alot of drum players tho. Hardly any malians eat that soup she was talking about. Most of the restaurants are from foreigners. There is piles of trash on every street. For some strange reason they do not have regular trash pick up. As for soccer- its literally the only sport they have. Its not like its a favorite if it's only option. Mali os a very strange place and dysfunctional.
