The windshield looks really nice on the bike. I like that dark color. I personally don't like the tall shields...with the recurve, it may do the trick and keep the wind going over your head. Ride safe and enjoy. ✌️👊👍
I have to say i thought I might cut it lower but will decide a bit later. My “touring” shield is 3” taller and wider and does excellent job but for looks this one looks really sharp I think. I got almost 200 likes on Road King FB group after I posted this picture. I was really surprised :)
Windshield looks really nice. Not long had my RKS so now looking at options. I live in the UK so how easy it is to get bits (that aren’t Harley)I don’t know yet.
I have a 2021 Road King special just like yours how tall is the windshield if you don't mind replying to me I'm really interested in one that is that tall thank you and have a good day
Hello, I have a 2023 RKS with stock 16" windshield from Harley, being 6 feet 1 tall ...I still get buffeting and a good amount of air on my helmet (dealer advised to get the 16" wrongly and can´t return it because in Spain the dealers buy every spare part from US without accepting returns ... so it´s a lottery). Question 1, for this windshield do you use the same brackets, volts ... hardware as with the stock windshield or you have to buy specific ones? Question 2, I´ve measured myself and I believe I can go 18" and even 20" windshield height while being able to look over. I saw your other review on the 18" clear windshield from Freedom Shields, do you think 20" should be a good choice on either this one in dark tint or the Freedom Shields one? Thanks a lot.
Freedom shields are simply the best. You can use the same brackets and bolts and replace glass/plastic part only. With your height I will say 19-20” might be appropriate height as I am 5’10” (176cm) tall and I use 19” and you are taller. Top edge of the shield should be between your upper lip and lower tip of your nose to provide the best protection and air flow. You can use long lever and place it on top of your existing shield to measure. Make sure it is straight horizontally. Always measure dont guess as these are not cheap. Pay attention as each shield manufacturer measure their shields differently so spend some time on their website. If you contact Freedom Shield they will help you out and you can mention you come from RidersUnited and I believe they will give you a bit of a discount too. Hope this helps.
@RidersUnited Super Arthur, yes you're right these are not cheap especially if you're buying from overseas with shipping and import fees for customs clearance. I think I'll go with the 20" Freedom Shields for my longer rides (also planning to get the Legend 13" revo A shocks that put you an inch higher); for shorter rides and when it's warm the bike without windshield is a dream to ride and handle. Great channel, the best out there for my bike model, congrats for the detailed and well explained reviews.

Thank you Sir
cool looking windshield and great video. I wonder if it would be perfect for me since I have a lower seat and shorter than you .........🤔🤔🤔
You can try on my bike but most likely this will be good fit for your set up
I see your windshield at the Earl. We are parked next to you. When do you head out?
Hey I am actually leaving tomorrow but if you want I can catch you for a beer. I can be at the bar at 10pm
Sounds good

I believe mine was 16” lowest one offered by this manufacturer. Looks cool for sure.
