Start button wouldn’t work and it was stuck in lock position, the Lo code lights up. Do you think it’s a worn out start button and needs control panel or something else to do with the lock?
A cheap MAH5500BWW control panel is easily found. But I couldn't locate a reasonably priced one for my MAH55FLBWW. They look the same but every resource I checked says they are not interchangeable. I just have a couple of load size buttons that don't work. Hmm... I wonder if the ribbon cable is dirty or loose?

This video saved my house, we had a good working washer, and no one would fix it because they can't get parts. With this video we fixed it, and it works so well.
I looks like I have this very same washer my model is MAH6500AWW, my door will lock and everything lights up and sounds like it’s going to start but won’t and my door was locked for 4 days. I unplugged many times to reset but finally on 4th day I touched the delicate button and it unlocked, got my smelly clothes out and pressed start and it finished that cycle to get the small Amy of water out. Was able to get one more load washed and then it done the same thing. Mine is a 2004. I looked on eBay for console and couldn’t find one. I called the store when I purchased and he thought maybe it was mother board too. Special order on console for almost $300 from whirlpool and mother board $450. Do you have any ideas for me because my washer, microwave and vacuum all went out within one week 😩

Just took mine apart the grounds were loose and rusty i cleaned them. Its kinda working. Hope for the best

Mine lights up but none of the buttons will change anything. The start/stop flashes but thats it. How do you put thies in diagnostic mode?

How do you check door switch?
You can open up the top panel and use on a multi tester to check for continuity. Also, it has to click when you press in on the switch.

My washer just blinks on and doesn't do anything locks when loaded won open
