From the perspective of an OTR driver, changing trucks every 5-6 days is very daunting. Can you talk about how you have minimized your gear to make going home/coming back easier?
Just finished my first week solo after the brutal onboarding, orientation, and 10 days with my mentor in Sanger, TX. Your videos really helped me through this bud. I thank you!
This is good info, I've seen this light on some the newer WM trailers I've been hauling as a Swift driver on a WM dedicated account but didn't know what it meant. Did not think much of it and didn't look it up but glad you brought it up, I'll keep my eyes on this light from now on.
🎉 that's great to know about the overtemp warning ! With the newer trailers we've been having issues with the auto inflation system literally doing the opposite LOL have you guys had any issues over there that you know of
Hey, I submitted an app 2 months ago (with a reference) and the grotesquely incompetent people at their background check vendor apparently just stopped halfway through the check. They didn't ask me for more info or anything. it's like they just gave up. I'm now in the process of trying to basically start over but I keep getting the run around from WMT and the background check vendor with each saying I need to talk to the other party. Have you heard of anyone else experiencing this? I see others say WMT called them back after a few days of submitting the application. I meet all their qualifications and them some so I don't understand what the problem is. I'm almost ready to just move on to something else despite wanting to drive for WMT for years now.
I was at Walmart for 2 years I had too leave for family reason there hiring where I was at but I keep putting in apps and haven't heard anything. Its been going on 6 months now that I've been trying you have any ideas why it might be taking awhile
Start on boarding January 22 they gave me earlier dates is it possible they fill that position an I loose out On the opportunity cause I scheduled it so late
Good morning. I’m from fontana and I want to apply but I went to “drive4Walmart” and only saw postings for yard and city drivers. Is there a way to apply for shuttle drivers if there is no posting
hi im a current employee of Walmart I work in store and have been thinking of getting my cdl a and have some questions? I would like to work for Walmart and do the associate to driver program but they stoped accepting applications in dec so I would have to wait until then to apply right? if so would it be better to go through a private school? I talked to one acouple of days ago they offer 4 week school for 5000 and they will build my resume and get me a job right away they say. but will it be better that driving for Walmart. would it just be smarter to wait the 9 months and do it with Walmart or do it now with the other school. I'm 21 and have been working here for 3 years so I think they would accept be if its based off seniority but to be honest I'm really not liking the pay or hours I'm at right now. I can always try and change depts and ask for a raise but, if staying the 9 months is better but I'm thinking if I go with the private school ill make the 5000 back before I even start training with Walmart. thank you.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I found out that little nugget of information after a tire accident. Thanks for the information.

To protect driver integrity, are there dashboard cams? Or, can you provide your own?
Hey ,
I have a question ? Does local also pay $110,00.00 yearly ?

See my comment above. Their background check vendor first advantage is stunningly bad. There might be a problem with them.
Will Walmart hire with
Reckless driving on record in personal vehicle?

Just keep checking daily. You want the one called truck driver. The listing goes up sometimes only for a few hours and then down for days or weeks
Sup man do you help with how Walmart does they’re pretrip of so I need some assistance.
