I would really like to see Drew interview Brendan Fraser in a raw & real moment like this. His story is probably SO big, and filled with so much hurt and pain. THIS IS AN AMAZING TRANSFORMATION. I’m so proud of her and I’m so happy for her. Selma, live your best life_recovery looks gorgeous on you 😍🥰

11:55 “Life WILL change.” Not new advice but the way she said it made it sound different and new to me. Personally I feel like I’m never going to leave this phase of life I’m in but hearing this gave me much needed grounds for hope. What a wise and trailblazing lady.

I had an extremely toxic childhood, & Adulthood, I totally can relate and have so much empathy for both of you, Selma looks wonderful, I am so happy to see her looking well again. My father is gone 49 years, my mom 22 years, and my sister 19 years, My brother left the family 40 years ago and has told everyone scathing stories about me, he poisoned his own son about his siblings and parents, in his mind he is the only victim, he and my sister blamed me for getting all the attention, when I was under the care of doctors from birth to age 27. You have to develop a very strong will to live, you have to redefine your identity, related yes, defined by no, in your aloneness you build your strength, you have to put abuse behind you. Drew, and Selma you have done that, you have grown into beautiful strong, incredible women.

Thanks so much Selma and Drew!!! I've always identified with Drew, I obviously didn't live in the limelight like her, but I had to raise myself. My parents were great, but they both had 2-3 jobs when I was growing up. So I was a latchkey kid and spent so much of my childhood alone, taking care of my own needs, and getting into alcohol and drugs. We all deserve second chances to parent ourselves! (heart)
