John... G... NAILED IT! Even if I dont know one side of a stone from the other, I can tell you that there are people out there who think a project like this should be cheaper because, "The hole is already there." There is SO much more involved.
Thanks so much, it’s nice to hear positive feedback. There are so many negative Nancy’s out there. Sometimes it gets hard to actually look into the comments and communicate with people. Folks like you remind me that I need to share what we have learned!
Hi John. How are you, Sir? I agree with all the points you brought out. It is, as you said, that it comes down to understanding the ground One is working on. The Pond of my Dad does not have an under pon drainage system, and it always rains a lot here in Scotland. Yet fortunately, in all the years of him having his Pond, that has never happened. I think that it might be because a lot of compacted sand under the liner as well as the walls of the Pond comes up above ground level and sloping away from the Pond the liner follows the sloping walls so when it rains the water runs away from the Pond. It 2020, I restored his Pond by putting in new liner, new plumbing, and a new Pump and filter. I also made it deeper. Anyway, it is good to see you, Sir, and as always, I appreciate you sharing, and therefor, I have given this video the 37th like to say thankyou very much. Have a great Week and take care, Sir. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️
Let's be clear, you did not convert a pool to a pond. You removed the pool, yes, destroyed the pool and used the empty hole as part of a new pond. Completed different.

Super kind of you to say so :-) hope to catch up with you next time I’m over in the UK maybe I can sneak up to Scotland and check it out?
What about just making the pool into a pond without liner or demo? Isn't the pool good enough to hold water?
Let's be clear, you did not convert a pool to a pond. You removed the pool, yes, destroyed the pool and used the empty hole as part of a new pond. Completed different.
what sup john G
Just chillin in the UK!
Malaki. Don't you mean how to remove a pool and install a pond?
Why not just use the pool as is? Forget a liner.
