My wife was always making meals from scratch, a bunch of times without recipes, it would be something that she would think of & experiment with. Some were great, some not so great but nothing was thrown away. Unfortunately I’m a widower, this one pan meal will be great for me. Pam thank you & God Bless you.

It's good to see a woman cook from scratch. Some of these young cooks wouldn't know how to cook if they didn't have can biscuits and cinnamon rolls to cook. One dish casserole s, I'm 74 and I like homemade cooking. God Bless you.🙏
Ma'am these young ladies are out here throwing down from scratch as well! I'm 50 and my twins are 28 and been cooking since 12! Let's give every generation the true props.
I don't know any other way to cook! My new favorite recipe involves about four strips of bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces and fried until it's not quite crispy, remove bacon from pan but save grease. Add a small onion, sliced thin and a clove of garlic, sliced. Cook until soft but not browned. Add in 1/2 small head of cabbage, sliced thin. Add bacon back to the pan and stir until cabbage is coated with bacon grease. Add 1/4 cup water, cover and cook until cabbage is softened, about five minutes. YUM!

These were the go-to when my kids were little, especially on Wednesdays cause we needed to hurry to eat and get to bible study.
We did hamburger helper before there was one. My mom woul slice potatoes like a patty, slice onions then maker her hamburger patties. She would stack them potato, onion, beef in a casserole dish and bake. It was amazing.

My Polish mother never did get the hang of hamburgers but she made something a lot like this with paprika and dill in the gravy. She didnt use cheese but she'd put a lot of sour cream in at the end. She was also a big fan of Shake n Bake.

Greetings from Canada🍁Great show Mom. I’ve had something simmular however, It had Paprika and fresh bread crumbs to thicken the sauce. Feels so at home just thinking about it and how I sat at my grandmothers table with a great big loaf of crusty bread that she had baked just for this meal. You have really brought me back into nostalgia I absolutely love watching you and I hope that you don’t mind me calling you Mom. Kisses!

While I appreciate her efforts, not mentioning the ingredients & measurements is somewhat frustrating 😐. As a scratch-cook B'Boomer, I can probably figure it out, though. Also, I'm not familiar with her personal seasoning mix she's promoting, but it would be good if she'd mention alternatives to it. However, she's very knowledgeable for sure. 😊 🏖Kj in Tampa Bay

You are definitely inspiring me to make videos of my recipes and launch them on RUclips. I have had to alter some of them for dietary reasons. I’ve never had a bad recipe from you and your tips have made my skills sharper. Especially when you show shortcuts. I’m someone that learned from parents that did not know how to cook and I had to take their basic level and raise the bar. I also learned at a very young age. It was survival because I’m picky.
