I reckon if I played one of these teams we would probably smash them, even though I play rugby. Just the ball playing and everything else just wasn’t there to be honest
both teams are playing at a very high level of rugby for under 12's. Lots of passing, off-loads, few genuine missed tackles and on a full pitch. No wonder they recorded this game - they deserve it.
That was a great watch, I currently coach an u12's team in England and I know how hard it is to get the passing game going, I thought both teams played some incredible rugby.👏👏
This is the cutest rugby match I have ever watched in my life. I love it how the referee is very young as well as the players.he would Mack a Very good referee for the rugby would cup ,six nations and all the over intnashnell rugby marchers in the future.

What i find in kids rugby is they all swarm to the tackled player and dont spread out when the ball has come out so there isnt much passing along the field
@@jessesrugbyleaguereview8086 we are crushing other teams with simple strat (i'm 13) we forwards drag them to one part of the field then we simply pass it out to the wing

Can't believe the geniuses here who are criticising their passing or skills. These kids are all 11 years old and playing a full 15's game. Most of the people criticising here probably don't even know all the laws of the game themselves, let alone how to teach 11 year old kids how to play, and with an 11 year old ref! This is top class kids rugby.
im in under 12s. i am hoping to be a right wing, that is what i played for my last practice. we haven't started games yet because it is not rugby season YET. Man, rugby is so fun. I am really fast so i think i will be wing
I have just come across this video. The players are fantastic and the ref equally so. I am a Level 2 coach in the UK coaching under RFU laws and guidelines for U 11s, next season U12s. Girls can play up to and including the U11s age group then cannot play rugby with the boys at U12 and above. The RFU does not allow this type of game for this age group. Our pitch size is max 60m x 40m marked by cones. No Goal posts. Max 12 players per side. No kicking at goal and a max of 5 in non contested scrums. Max 3 in ruck and Maul. Scrum Half must pass the ball from set scrum ruck and maul, opposing scrum half cannot move until ball is passed from scrum. No Line outs. I believe our Refs society does not allow 12 yr olds to ref. Our RFU has researched the way they believe our mini and youth rugby must be coached and played and each year group has further skill sets introduced. Example is Line Outs start at U14 level. Other laws apply as well. Interesting to watch this video, I am impressed and wish the players well.
@@lukerobinson5734 Thank you for your reply. It does not surprise me that different Unions and countries come to that have different approaches to rugby training and games at this level. Looking at some skill sets, including line outs in Scotland for teams younger than U14s it seems that no one approach is correct. A big bugbear for me is that the RFU does not allow contact for youth and mini rugby until 2 weeks before the season starts. This places massive pressure on coaches who have to develop their teams including new recruits to the game with contact skills. The response from the powers that be is to play touch rugby until players have developed contact skills. Very frustrating when many clubs have their young players once a week for a max of 2 hrs training.
Ok first things first when they go down the people who are guarding the ball above him aren’t grabbing him by the shirt to hold on 2 the lions when they give eatch other the ball it falls out atleast in the start 3 when they take someone down the atackers aren’t pushing the defenders to gain the ball and finally 4 why dfaq are they playing in a grown ups style version of rugby?
Ik they are only kids but I think the coaching could be a bit better coz they are flying passes out without looking and the rucks could be better aswell
I agree that this is good solid rugby from the boys but without a doubt the South African rugby at this age group is more intense with a overall higher callibar and intense play

Incredibly high standard of play and of refereeing for under 12 age group. Absolutely fantastic!
Atleast both teams seem consistent with their players. Most u12 teams rely on a kid that hit puberty early, from what I’ve seen.
