That stoppage seems unwarranted. Good win nonetheless but Russell ain’t gonna last long taking big hits like that so often. Give the right guy those same kind of shots and it’s lights out

That was a good stoppage" Did you see the back and forth..Butt Russell was starting to break him down with clean shots..Then when Postal started retreating" the blood starting falling in his eye" the same over hand right that was Popping him..all fight" Russell was applying pressure all night" Postal was fighting back" But he was starting to slow down..The body work was making him drop his hands" look" This was a good fight" it is what it is" ***ONE🕐*****

@@corneliusmickens110 No high level boxer gets hit on purpose. He was being reckless with his aggression and not defending himself well. Fighters who think its ok to take hits on purpose don't end up going far it's the smart guys not the tuff guys that become dominant champions.

Yoo Russell was taking some shots and he kept on coming with bombs of his own . Postol I feel was surprised by the returns and it was showing as the fight went on . Postol can still hang but he needed to fight a smarter fight . Russell was the stronger fighter and he gonna be fun to watch in the future .
He's strong and has fast hands, but needs to improve his defense, he takes too many punches that could be avoided.
Put him in there with Matias....battle of the 140ers with next to zero defense who have throttled everyone they've set foot in the ring with. 😂

Way premature of a stoppage.. I know the refs job is to protect the fighter but fighting comes with the precedent of high risk and danger. From these highlights it looked like a competitively close fight. You hate to see a ref stop it like that..
What is it with PBC releasing highlights decades after the fight
Now you see it has been years Crawford fought this guy. He literally ran from russell before the stoppage. He was scared to get stopped by Russell, he wasn't scared against Crawford though he kept landing regularly against russell. That says a lot for the difference in power.

No early stoppage
The stoppage was solid. Especially if you've seen Postol out on his feet in previous fights. No point in allowing him be put to sleep. Hitting his head on the canvas would be beyond dangerous.
