Glad you went back to redeem your experience at that restaurant. You really need to go to Mohegan Sun TAO Asian Bistro and Lounge. Very good ambiance and the food is good too. It's a little pricey but worth it!! Keep up the great content.
Being in Food and Bev for 2 plus decades, seeing silver skin on that crushed me, and the fact things are under cooked. For a established restaurant, total let down. Nothing worse than fat/under cooked bacon and pork belly. Even a 1st year sous chef wouldnt let that hit the pass..

You're absolutely right. And notice they were not angry about it at all you were very polite I like that and the standard should be upheld especially for wagyu beef $50 a serving you got two servings and a bunch of other food and it's coming out like that I would have done the same thing.

Im a local to the Foxwoods area, about 15 minutes away. Golden Dragon is a legit spot, but yes, Ive had to be trash too. The spot to go to is TAO Asian Bistro in Mohegan Sun. Its amazing! Try it out and let us know your thoughts!

It’s odd, I’ve had some of the best meals of my life when eating out, then went back at a later date to repeat the great experience and was very disappointed the second time, ordering the same foods. Perhaps staff turnover is the culprit? Or like you said the head chef was not working when I returned.
Jason! You need to come to chicago to try Wagyu House by X Pot Hotpot, I think you would love it !!!!!!!! Look it up. (not sponsored, but if you wanna hear where I work I think we make the best pizza in chicago and I’m a bartender there. it’s called Professor Pizza in Old Town)
Ordered $250 worth of food from there, last time I was at Foxwoods. Used points. Got home, it was horrible. Zero flavor, forgot 2 dishes, quality was bad. We got to Foxwoods every weekend. I’ll never eat there again. Used to love it in the old location. Not anymore

Looks like the head chef needs to spend tutorial time with the others, which I know is hard but do it on the days the restaurant is closed maybe so there is consistency? A bad meal is hard to swallow 😊

I had the same problem with fat on a pork belly dish that I have ordered 25 times from Mabel's BBQ in Las Vegas the last two times the portion was half the size and it was almost complete fat when I pointed this out to the server he went and got the manager and the manager saw that it was 90% fat which I understand pork belly is fat... But there is usually some meat to it also the manager actually told me that he likes a lot of fat like that are you freaking ridiculous I had the same manager come over the last two times I had a problem with the meal and he really didn't want to do anything about it ask me if I wanted another one but it would come out the same so what would be the point I'm just not going there anymore... There are other good restaurants in the palms that I will gladly take my money to that manager should be fired he is useless
