They are interchangeable... buy a sheet of each and try them out... cheap and you'll figure out what you like best. If she wants to respond and tell you which... I suppose she will and then you'll know for sure.
Looks great Question do you ever use zest it to blend colours for a smoother finish ? If you do how do you find it as I love it. Thanks for a great tutorial
Prismacolors are known to break.. especially the 2nd and 3rd versions from Mexico.... either buy the older berol branded ones from ebay or try dick blicks or marco renoirs... for the best.. go with polychromos... you get what you pay for!
Angie Lai Many crafters use a manual sharpener instead of an electric one to prevent the pencil tips from breaking. You can control the pressure of the sharpener better if it is manual. Some pencil brands come with a sharpener.
What kind of sharpener do you use to sharpen these pencils? I have a hard time sharpening Prismacolor colored pencils. The "lead" tends to break a lot.
Nina McKinley You bet.. of course - there are free version on the internet (linked above) that are similar and are great for printing on high quality paper for practice... personally - I love finding free digital stamps instead of spending so much money on these.... they can be easily resized and used over and over again simply. Enjoy!
