@@whatshorts they dont have the depth to win over 30 games. only above average players on the team are tre jones, devin vassell, chris paul, and wemby. castle could be alright but rookie guards generally need the most development and he will only make their abysmal spacing/shooting even worse. plus cp3 has had massive regression and is only a 15% usage player now. also dont think wemby is built for a bruising 82 game regular season especially if theyre trying to be competitive. opposing players learned last year that its easier to go through him than to shoot over him

Mavs added Klay Naji & Grimes. All amazing 3poimt shooters and defenders even though klay obviously isnt in his prime anymore but he’s still averaged 18ppg on 39% 9 3pt FGA a game. Great roster and one of the deepest bench ITL. Also spence, great ball handler and can create shots and clutch and was a huge part of that 2022 WCF run. Also a 7’5 defensive stopper. They were just a few pieces away from beating Boston and I think they’ll be able to this time with hopefully a HEALTHY Luka and Kyrie getting over the hump. Whoever they meet, I think they will beat. They should be the favorites in the west, no doubt💯💯

I’ll be watching the cavs league because they won’t let Imani Bates onto the roster, which kind of doesn’t make sense when you think about he was the only player or he was for sure the player that played the least amount of minutes in the NBA, but still made the rising star game. he gained 26 pounds in the summer. He’s almost 200 pounds 610 shooting guard has the best jumper by any one who’s under 21 not even close kind of doesn’t make sense. I’m hoping they will make sense with a new coach change. You've said the same kind of goofy thing about Washington's veteran players not really wanting to lose. I'm 100% sure that the team is trying to tank and if they have good experienced assets I think those players will probably get traded off the roster during the season. That is an awful lineup going out there and maybe the experienced players will get them a couple more wins than last year but if they start playing really good basketball I think guys will get traded. I don't really think it's necessary to do that this season because I don't think they're going to play very good basketball. Sarr might go down as one of the worst top tier picks of all time I think they'll be the worst team in the league or very close to it and I think they're probably okay with that. Obviously this is all my opinion and I have no insiders working with me to form that opinion. Edit. I forgot about how bad the roster of the Brooklyn Nets is. That may be the worst team in the league.

I think the Jazz could be bouncing in and out of the worst 10 teams all season. It might go down to the wire as to whether or not that team gets their pick next year. I haven't looked at all of the teams and plotted who I thought would be the worst 10 but the Jazz seem like they're right at that level. I know that there's three or four guys that people are really wanting in this draft but for all I know it may be a deep draft and having the 10th pick might be something good plus you never know with the lottery system whether that 10 might become the fourth pick? Also who in the state of Utah listens to jazz? I know they were once the New Orleans jazz but they probably should have changed the team name a long time ago. Now that they've had a couple runs to the finals and all of that there's probably too much history for them to change it.

I don't see it. Luka doesn't seem to have natural defensive impulses. both one and one and off the ball.
