This is 100% Krayzie Bone and an inside look at his talent. I have no doubt he wrote and constructed every part of this song besides the beat. In fact to take it further, Krayzie was involved in alpt of the early beat production. Dj Uneek has come out and said when he first met Bone and they started working together, Krayzie was looking for a specific sound for thier music. Krayzie would hum melodies and then Dj Uneek would turn them into beats. The majority of Bone’s first 3 albums were already written and ready to go before they were even signed. So when they finally got into the studio all they needed to do was get the right beats and record them. In other words those songs were already playing in Krayzie’s head before they got into the studio to lay them down
The flow switches, the harmonizing, the layering, the cadences, the beat etc the lyrical content isn’t anything special but it’s how this song was composed. I feel like marching into war with this song 😂
Fun fact: Even though this came out in 1999 he recorded this years prior. It was the first solo he ever recorded. Check out Krayzie Bone - Get'chu Twisted , KB just goes insane on a Lil Jon produced beat.
Songs like this are thier own genre. You could say its an r&b vibe…but when you consider what he’s talking about and where he’s coming from its more of an eerie vibe. R&b songs dont talk about going on psychotic murderous rampages, spirits and quija boards, stalkin and tossin mofo’s in graves and so on. They were on some eerie sh*t back in the 90’s for real!
This track is actually old.the album came out in 1999/2000 but this song was out being played on underground radio in Cleveland back in 1995. First time I heard it was on the Mekkah Sunshine hiphop show when Bone was in studio at like 4 am. E.1999 had just dropped and they played this joint bone had in their archives. I remember being lifted and saying to myself......what in the hell did they just pull off, here!!! Nothing in 1995 sounded even remotely close to this.
I love this song, he has a similar song on the 1st Mo Thugs album called Mo Murda (different than the group song). These two songs are unique and they are basically all of Krayzie’s little breakdowns from other verses all mashed together one after another. A lot of call backs from earlier songs.
Krayzie is a R&B rhythm type of artist to begin with. He rap in a R&B singer pattern. Yes this is one man on this entire song. Krayzie was the engineer of this song.
And in a different tone of voices and on top of that it’s like all hooks or bridges of a song bone is soooooooooooooo under rated it’s a shame but the real know
Your reactions are weird dude. He is talking about murder. R and b don't do that you are tripping. It's too show his skills. They are known for harmonizing

Man, what do you mean? Everything you just mentioned, all of it was special. Like, that's what makes the song so majestic. Lol.
This is Bone style. No category for that

"He's harmonizing with himself. That's insane."
No, that's Krayzie.
Haha i see what you did there
Beat sampled Art of Noise - Moments in Love. Throwback pop group, but the track had a R&Bish vibe because of Krayzie's sauce.
Theres no other like papa leatha face!
KRAY JACK!

Krayzie Bone is a f***ing GENIUS!!!
Classic album from a true legend. You need to react to his underground tapes. The rap god over Eminem beat and the diss to migos is fire
Krayzie is a R&B rhythm type of artist to begin with. He rap in a R&B singer pattern. Yes this is one man on this entire song. Krayzie was the engineer of this song.
Simply, the most beautiful song about murder. 😂
