Hi good evening sir Ian Can i ask, there is a possibility if i'm a holder A permanent residence in czechia. Can i bring my wife easier in czech republic? Or what are the other things benefits of my family with permanent residence permit. I hope here from you soon. Thank you.
Hello Jan! You are doing a great job with your videos on the whole process of immigration to the Czech Republic, thank you for that! I have a short question: Do you need to submit pay slips for the last quarterly period, together with the proof of income from the employer when you are applying for permanent residence permit? Thank you so much!
@@Newheartofpeace We usually recommend our clients the original employment contract + all addendums, last three salary slips or better the confirmation of average salary from HR/accountant.
Hi Jan, first of all very informative video. I applied for permanent residency on 27.11.23 and my application in progress. And my residence permit will end on 06.02.24, as my application in progress do I need again collect all docs and apply for residence permit? P.S. not going to leave Czechia as I work here, I assume I can live and work here until decision from MOI. I am from 3rd country
Hi Jan, Thanks for such informative content . I have one question for third world countries that if after receiving PR in Czech I want to move and work in third world country for 2-3 years , will PR still be valid ?
Hey Mukul, thank you :) PR allows you to stay in other EU countries for up to six years and in some non-EU country for up to one year without losing the PR.
Hi Jan, I’ve 2 quick questions for you. Am I allowed to work in a different EU country after getting a PR from the Czech Republic? If yes, then is it true that if I start working in a different EU country then after working there for 2 years I become eligible to apply for their permanent residency and in order to get their permanent residency I have to give up Czech republic’s permanent residency?
Hi Ginij! Those are many and pretty complicated questions! :D So, let's try to unfold them one by one. 1. Working in other EU countries - well, it for sure does not work the way that you just move wherever and start working. In most cases, you will anyway need to get local residence permit. 2. PR after 2 years - I would say that this generally depends on the country you move to. They all might have different rules. Might also depend on the local residence permit you get 3. Giving up PR in CZE - generally, you should not have two permits of the same type in two different countries - i.e. if you have a Blue Card in Germany, you should not have another one in CZE. If you have a PR here, no problem with getting you a Blue Card in Germany. Having two permanent residence permits at the same time is questionable. One thing to mention though, my expertise is mainly in getting people to CZE and keeping them here :D Moving within the EU is something I have limited knowledge of based in couple cases we have dealt with.
If I stay for four years on student visa and worked Full time, paid taxes for 4 years. How to consider this duration for pr in Czech republic?? My course duration was 2 years but I completed the course in 4 years.
I have a permenant residency permit in Cz and I am planning to move to london for like 2 years. Is it possible to move there for 2 years and still have the valid permenant residency? I am planing to have a short trip to praha during those 2 years. Like some weekend trips. Thank you!

Ahoj Jan! I have a quick question for you: Can the MV CR ask for a proof from the landlord's bank account that i am paying rent? I have a pretty sweet deal where i pay only 7.000 Kc per month, but i also live in a small town. I am applying for permanent residence permit very soon. I am asking this because my landlord is moving to Greece and he will be coming back to Czech Rep maybe a few times a year.. so if the MV CR asks for this proof from him i don't know if he or me will be able to send it on time. Thanks!

Hey! Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, there are very different rules for the "student visa" and the "other visa". Let me list some of the main differences below: 1. Most Embassies do not accept "other" applications at the moment due to covid, only "students". 2. As a student, you can work freely in the Czech Republic, as other you can not. 3. As a student, you can apply for a job seeker visa once you finish your studies, as other you can not. Yes, officially, the MOI can cancel the Permanent Residency if you have been outsode of the EU for longer than 1 year or outside of the Czech Republic in general for longer than 6 years.
You would need to check on the other (Dutch) side to know exactly. The other way around, it does not really work like that. People let's say with Dutch PR can apply for a long-term residence permit in CZE pretty easily though.
