Story:
Since the beginning of time, the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell have waged war, with neither side ever being able to gain an advantage over the other. Thus, in time, a mediator group named "The Charred Council" arose to maintain order and balance; to this end, they created a warrior brotherhood, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (War, Death, Strife, and Fury) to intervene and enforce their laws where and when necessary. Amidst the conflict, humanity emerged. Foreseeing that humans would be integral and contribute to the balance's stability, the council declared them a third Kingdom, the "Kingdom of Man." The Council brokered a truce between Heaven and Hell: the Seven Seals were created to be broken when the Kingdom of Man was ready for the End war.

He's definitely the most powerful, he's of the first Nephilim generation and was appointed leader for a reason.
Apparently War has better fighting instincts though.
Darksiders 2 definitely is the best one. Best casted and best gameplay. And of course Death is just absolutely epic in every detail. But other games, even third after all this time and with all upgrades, seems like an unpolished version of Darksiders 2.
The second game itself is a masterpiece, if graphics were one idea more realistic it would be perfect. The moving, the quests, the conversations and the menu are the best of all. And the ability of Death recovering himself while strike helps a lot.
In other hand War is weak, he is so great character but in a combat he could be easily defeated. For example, those plasma balls they throw at things to explode, he can't hold them for long. Some things like this kills the pleasure of playing.
At third game there are confusing things too, controls for pc are not so good. I didn't finished it. After so many years of waiting it couldn't keep my interest till the end. If I have to compare with second game, I played it 15 times just because I like it.
Still, the story, the characters, comic books before that and Abomination Vault, this is one absolutely badass story with very hard work on it. It inspires so many people all over the world and I honestly can't think of better game series.
Now we need an epic end with Strife, they better don't mess it up.

Not really, their are way better games for example, The Legend of Zelda franchise and the Final Fantasy franchise but my personal favorite is the Legacy Of Kain series. You want to talk about a game that had and told a great and freaking amazing story, check out The Legacy of Kain series.

My only problem with Death’s trailer, all the forms of the face were the same. They should have been different interpretations of it because it’s a bit too cartoony.
Serious question though, how does their hair not get in their way? Fury’s at least made some sense as it would always rise up behind her when fighting, but War and Death? Best guess is practice.
We need another series to co conclude the game. As of now, the story line left at a cliff hanger. But before that, strife deserves his stand alone game
Seems like Darksiders 3 has lower budget than its predecessors...
Jorge Ruiz well its EA...and really we just haven't been hit with many ads yet but the gameplay from about a year ago seemed very solid Fury was very motion based as opposed to death's dodging, and her few sneaking moments also seemed interesting to add in...though that could still not be implemented right.

No cinematic trailer/cinematic in a different style doesn't mean it has a lower budget.

well in some personal perspective, all four horseman are considered THE good guy here
Man, I hope in the furture all the Darksiders games get a remake and graphical overhaul. Because I would definitely play it again with upgraded sound quality, gameplay mechanics, and updated graphics.

@@killeur78570 actually powerful and strong is very different imo,death is very powerful in terms of magic and stuff but war is like every knight or warrior in rpg games, he can be very tanky and very strong in terms of physical strength so disagre to disagree
