Caleb opened up the crowd that he’d been struggling with suicidal thoughts, and believed at times that it would be better for him and everyone else if he just ended his life. That was the first and only time in my life that I’ve witnessed someone open up about having suicidal thoughts. To see him where he is now after that experience with him, it brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to this new music and see him smile. Saying that I’m happy for him doesn’t even begin to cover it.

It's so unbelievably hard to write music that's happy and positive without being cheesy. And the message of self love often feels preachy and forced. But THIS. THIS. This is honest and real...heartfelt, empowering, and still fully aggressive. But it's like the aggressiveness in the music is about seizing the day.
I swear this has to be my new favorite song from Beartooth! I can't get it out of my head and it just makes you happy and you find yourself smiling and singing along the whole time!! Love the direction they are going with this new album!

I can really feel the deep joy of it and that makes it addictive. I also really enjoy how he progresses from “couldn’t happen to me” to “could it happen to me,” subtly moving from denial to wonder. I am so, SO ready for this album!
