      @@SrMorua That is incorrect. You mean "Not for men who can't handle a strong female lead, or the sheep who don't like it because they heard other people didn't like it." This has nothing to do with lore.

    • @SrMorua
      @SrMorua 2 дня назад

      @@ryandegrave8978 I don't know, I am not a hardcore fan, but there were things I dislike a lot, like not development in the story of Kylo, the reason why he kill Han Solo looks cheap. Also, it would had been nice to see Leia being trained in the force, as every other jedi, at least as a flashback before she uses it during the ship wreckage and decompression, I consider it really nice at the end of the original trilogy that she had that potential.
      I think Rey's path of ascension looks " easy" like ifshe had no struggle, not need to correct mistakes or anything, that is a turn down for many people, as most will identify with a character that may has flaws, but learns to overcome them.
      I like strong female roles, like Wonder Woman (the first movie) or even Alien, and yes, there could be chauvinistic people who dislikes them as no one is perfect, but the movie lacks, it really does, and Luke role is terrible, he went backwards, I was expecting a mature role, like Yoda, like Obi Wann, a master that knows how to keep his head cool and not just being like a parody if itself.
      Also, it the part where the rebels use the ship to kamikaze the Imperial ship, well, if that was possible, why the same strategy was not used before? Sending instead missiles with warp jumps? There are videos of fan nerds who explain in the lore that is not possible.
      Anyways, I don't think is just because there is a strong female role, because other movies with strong females has been succesful and didn't have that backlash, but I know Disney created a campaign to make others believe this (the dislike for strong women) is why people dislike it, because they were not humble to recognize the execution of their ideas was not proper, again, the idea is fine, but the execution was not.

    In the Dirty Dozen, Lopez's character breaks his neck while parachuting down to the mission area. They absolutely mention him dying because they have to replace him in the mission 'rhyme'. He is called 'mayonnaise' in the poem they all memorize, and they replace his jobs with others of the group. He doesn't just disappear like this video describes. There is an explanation given.

    Okay your a little off about Nick dissappearing. The offical last time we see him is when he, Ian, Sarah, and Kelly are on the helicopter leaving Sorna before we head on to the 3rd act with the T Rex in San Diego. I just assumed that since Kelly is missing from the entire 3rd act except for the final apartment scene, I believe that while Ian & Sarah were dealing with Ludlow and the T Rex stuff, Nick was watching Kelly. Its never officially said of course, but I think that's the best explanation that makes sense.

    @Rockhound6165 3 дня назад +5

    If you actually watched The Dirty Dozen they clearly say that Jimenez broke his neck after falling into a tree when the group parachutes to their mission spot. That's how they wrote him out of the movie. And he didn't leave over money. He left on the advice of Frank Sinatra in order to maintain his music career.

  • @babserella2778
    @babserella2778 4 дня назад +5

    Uhm....we see Nick in the helicopter, where he reveals that he took out the hunter's massive bullets and thus saved the t-rex's life. "Guess that's one trophy he's not getting."
    That's the resolution of his plot arc. It's neat and tidy. There's no reason for him to be in San Diego for the finale. Why would he be? He's incredibly smart for not being further involved.

    Actually, when it comes to The Room, Peter does NOT disappear from the movie. During Johnny's birthday party, after everyone goes outside. When Mark and Lisa are again about to cheat, a random person arrives to scold them for cheating. That IS Peter. Wisseau replaced the og actor. But of course, didn't write dialogue explaining who it was.

    Minority Report shouldn't be on this list. We know all we needed to know about his son. His son was kidnapped right from under his nose. The story is not about his son nor do we need to see his inevitable death to understand the story taking place. IMO, if they showed what happened to his son it wouldn't fit. How would anyone find out in order to tell him. They would need to add a bunch of subplot simply to explain how someone managed to find out what happened to his son which has no bearing on the story we are watching.

    the Lost World is vaguely based on Crighton's second novel and the premise is that the island with the theme park is the zoo/theme park while the other island is where the industrial cloning goes on. So not that lukewarm, does make sense that they'd hide the unappealing aspects from the tourists. Still not as good as the first one.

    ok McKidd isn't explained but think its pretty damn safe to assume he didn't survive the voyage across the Mediterranean was most likely on the same ship as Balian who seems to be the only survivor. When Balian inherited Ibelin and the titles that came with it all of those men woulda swore fealty to him and traveled with him the only reason why McKidd's character is never seen again is because he is dead its simple logic

    Dr. Leek, the secondary villain from the 1999 superhero comedy "Mystery Men" vanished without a trace midway through the movie. The comic book adaptation from Dark Horse revealed her fate, possibly based on an earlier draft of the script. She's first shown to apparently be the actual villain, with Casanova Frankenstein being her brainwashed puppet. After Mr. Furious' girlfriend Monica is kidnapped, Casanova starts flirting with her. Dr. Leek jealously orders him to get rid of her, at which point he reveals he was never under her control and he just used her to escape the mental hospital, and he murders her.

    It often happens due to studio reedits. One of the worst I ever saw was the 13th Warrior. The king's son who is being set up as opposing the warriors just disappears around the time of the first battle. Since he's never seen again I assume he dies in one of the battles but the scene was obviously cut. It was a little like Loki disappearing midway through the Avengers movie. You'd wonder what happened.

    • @ryandegrave8978
      @ryandegrave8978 3 дня назад

      I remember that movie very differently. The king's son led the heroes throughout the movie before dying very dramatically at the end. Are you talking about the brother that he killed early in the movie? I don't remember him being set up as an enemy, and the film definitely had a completely different enemy in mind. At any rate, I'm sure they showed his death in the film. His brother killed him in self-defense, or they were dueling or something. It's been a while, but I remember that being the set up for the one who survived to be the next king. I feel like you just missed a part of the movie.

    first of all : who is maz kanata ? dudes literally comes from nowhere, we never see her in prequel, original series or anywhere at all, not even indirect mention of her, but han solo and chewbaca somehow act like they known each other for ages (?)
    also, she somehow knew the force and somehow keeping anakin's lightsabre (???), where did she get anakin's lightsabre ? did luke just hand over his father's personal heirloom to a random shady space bar owner somehow ?
    this is a big plot hole and you can't convince anyone that this aint sucks

    The characters in Awakens are pretty rad.
