For one, Bird moulded Jordan into the player he became. 23-11 record against Jordan (17-11 regulars, 6-0 playoffs), he taught Jordan the mental part of the game. If he hadn't been injured in his second season, he would have held that title 8 out of his first 8 seasons in the league. Nope, it was the brutal Celtics that beat the crap out of everyone for years, that other teams got sick of. The Pistons went out and hire a hockey team people know as the Bad Boys. They finally won a fight and Bird retired. So the Bad Boys had to kick the crap out of the Bulls until they too, hired their own hockey team.
