The sound at 19:30 is the test signal for Hesa Fredrik, our outdoor broadcasting system for the public. It is used in case of dangers etc. The sound you heard is used 4 times a year to test that the system is still working.

Delightful. I have now watched all your episodes, even to things that I don't even know about, because you are so good. Keep it up. Thank you.

Very nice tour, thank you for taking us with you. I loved her books. Her hometown reminded me of my own childhood hometown, although in Poland. It also has a fountain in the centre and lovely cobbled street. Even houses are similar. It's a shame you couldn't see the house inside.
In 5 days it will be an anniversary of her death. She died on 28th January 2002, age 94. Three days later I lost my dad, he was 49.

Hi Matthias! Your videos are really well made. I got the google maps vid recommended and then browsed on to this one. As a Swede who also grow up with Astrid Lindgren I have to say I learned quite a bit from this. You've got a new subscriber!

You didn’t visit Astrid Lindgrens Värld in Vimmerby?

I‘m sure it‘s fun for visitors. But I wanted to show the actual places that inspired her. 🙂

@@MatthiasSchwarzerEnglish Yeah, I get that. I thought you might go just for you though. Since you’re a fan. Never been myself though; maybe it’s more fun for children

I'm sorry, but "Båtmansbacken" is really not pronounced as "Butt Man's backen"!
That's my only complaint, though. Loved the rest of the video.
