    I would not have expected an African species to survive in that climate, but I suppose that the right habitat and considering the mild winters it makes sense. I would imagine the Olympic mudminnow and other small fish that live in slower moving waters are at the highest risk.
    Salmon tend to live in faster moving waters that I dont imagine are the optimal habitat for these frogs but I understand leading with salmon since its harder to get people to care about species that are not considered commercially important.
