It was probably the most awful atrocity that anyone could ever perpetrate - unspeakable, against the dead.

I can probably think of a few worse atrocities but yeah it was pretty bad.

Eamon DE Valera was a Nazi sympathizer so it isn't surprising

The only good thing that came out of this atrocity was people like Gordon Wilson who lost his daughter Through his public forgiveness he laid a foundation for peace and reconciliation

In 1987 the 1981 theme and the 1985 blue version of the 1981 titles were still being used at weekends and bank holidays

Horrible Events on that Day, I was Sent to the Scenes in Enniskillen, that Day, with Some of my Colleagues, and were in Close Proximity to the Blast, at that time!. Unbelievable that this could ever happen, Especially on Remembrance Day. I Remember the late Sir Ian Paisley Saying that this is Beyond Anyone's Belief, that Individuals Could Stop so low!. I can Remember looking after the Makeshift Mortuary, that the Deceased were Sent to, a Very Sad Day!, made Even Worse, that this was Remembrance Sunday!.😢

The IRA made a huge blunder here. I am amazed that they actually apologized. The IRA said nothing then as they were wrong footed and everyone condemned them, Catholic, Protestant and those of no faith. Sinn Fein's weekly newspaper An Phoblacht even condemned the attack - "monumental error" that would strengthen the IRA's opponents. Utter disgrace.

Terrible events indeed.! I remember this well. The World Cup Cricket Final was LIVE on B.B.C.2. I watched that FINAL.My late mother was furious with me that I missed The Remembrance Day Service on B.B.C.1. Also because in those days there was a dispute between B.B.C. News and B.B.C. Current Affairs Departments. The programme was from The B.B.C. SIX O CLOCK News Studio but the captions were hand made. If this had been on a weekday the captions would have been computerised with a Blue Colour. R.I.P. Mum and the victims of ALL Terrorist Atrocities!

Why didn't the loyalists respond to this as they did with the Shankhill bombing in 93? Cannot believe they let this go.

So tragic glad the IRA today see this is not how to resolve problems or reach ones goals. 30 years of the troubles was pointless barbaric war.

If the people of Northern Ireland were given a referendum to chose who governs them, maybe this could be put to rest. The result could be the end of the arguments.
