I have just discovered this information about (Ganas) in the vedic astrology. I have always seen people in classes before I have even gotten into astrology; normal people who are living and dying as assets for other more important creatures, chosen people who came to do something in life and other demonic creatures who came to put hurdles for those who were chosen. When I put myself to find my nakshatra analysis I found out I am Dhanishta and under the Raksha ganas who're supposed to be demons!! So I got to understand why my life was always hard and seemed under some authority and why I was always living like I was reincarnated and paying my awful karma for past lives!! Now I can see that I wasn't chosen or anything! I am just here to pay most probably! I have always seen myself as a smart person who's protected from evil and energetic more than of blood and flesh but thought I was chosen to do something good and tried to be good as much as I can and try not to harm others but I was harmed more the more I act well! So now I got to understand I might not be meant for good or to be chosen or divine! In fact I found out that the people whom were of extreme harm to me and caused me to suffer harshly in this life that their ganas is Deva. So they were even born to live happily but not us as rakshas!

Thank you for this interesting video! On my D1, my Moon is Manushya and my husband's is Rakshasha. However, both of our Suns are Deva...and we have been together for over 30-years. We are Westerners (me, American/he, British) and it was love at first sight, when we met...almost as if, the world had stopped all around us and we were in our own private sphere...it was magical!!! 💗💗💗
PS...and mean, we have been 'very happily' married...we are best friends and rarely argue.

Grahas work externally i.e. in external world and nakshatra work on the mind. Therefore nakshatra are associated with moon i.e. no. of nakshatra = days in a moon cycle

jupiter,venus,mercury - rohini. therefore tharki but can be converted to sidhhis
rahu,ketu,sun - rakshasha. therefore strong intuition but can be clouded with drinking/smoking

Just noticed on the table at 42:27 minutes in that the last group under Shiva-Race has 2 nakshatras as Deva, but only one, number 27 Revati is listed. It seem like Shravana number 22 that is listed under Manushya should be listed as Deva. Earlier Shravana was put in with the 9 Deva Ganas, so maybe it's just a minor charting error. Thank you for sharing this with us.

In traditional astrology taught by Parashara this classification (deva, manushya, rakshasa) is made on the basis of presiding deities of navamsa. What is your opinion on that ? Are they meant to supplement each other ?
Also, what makes you think that movable equals rajas, fixed = tamas and dual = sattwa ? Are there any authoritative texts that state the same or is it just common sense and logic ?

Rakshasas are the opposite of another class of beings called Yakshas. Both are forest dwellers are protectors and have same powers.

Sir, you said that Raksha guna not fast. My family has Deva and Manushiya but whenever there is a problem and time bound resolution, we always go to the Raksha Guna person, and they resolve it in time bound fashion. So can you please explain why your statement on they are not fast and not there for you when time of need?
Rakshas gan also have 2 types 1 is yakshas and 2 is danavas
1) yakshas have Varuna deity nakshatra for ex :- shatibhisha (my daughter 's nakshatra ) inshort we can say Adityas and some are in danavas but some astrologers shows all rakshas ganis bad you will find in Google wikipedia search nakshatra and what nakshatra you have some are good and some are bad but it's not our fault it's depends on time :)
About rakshas gan:-
The good Asuras are called Adityas and are led by Varuna, while the malevolent ones are called Danavas and are led by Vritra.Asuras are part of Indian mythology along with Devas, Yakshas (nature spirits) and Rakshasas (ghosts, ogres). Agni has total of 12 asura descriptions, Varuna has 10, Mitra has eight, and Rudra has six. Bhargava gives a count of the word usage for every Vedic . Indra dev was a rakshas gan too :)) I hope this information helps you
