I was tearing up through this whole video. Something really precious about how obviously joyful Angelo was to be there. Felt a lot of love in that room.

Thank you so much Angelo. Since I started watching your videos I discovered that there are so many people who are awake and down to earth ordinary people with no hints of megalomania, so many more than I could ever think of!!! Thanks to you I discovered "The Three Pillars of Zen".

It's so great to hear the perspectives of women zen teachers. I'd like to hear more about their approach to zen and trauma. It was good to hear about the Sei and Her Soul Separate koan. Thanks for this.

Sei and Her Soul Separated-which is the true one? - What a fascinating story.
Such a nice interview and so much wisdoms and good analogies from these teachers.
I loved the 3 different energies for Mu and also found the complete moon idea very useful.
Thank you for creating and sharing these interviews here with the rest of the world.

A beautiful peace in this discussion… I have had acute stomach pain today, indigestion and vomiting, felt equal to giving birth and coming in acute waves of cramps and nausea, almost not able to put up with it, but lots of deep breathing and allowing, feeling better and this is very soothing to listen to.. on page 92 of your book.. about to start chapter 5… and day 40 of ACIM..

I had terrible stomach cramps a few months ago. The pain was unbelievable but so interesting to witness. At one point I stopped writhing in pain and just accepted it moving through me. So funny that through that crazy pain we both recognized the inherent resistance and decided to breathe through it and let it come.

Excellent interview! I have been drawn to Zen for some time but haven't been part of a sangha. Alan Watts was my "gateway," so to speak, during my budding interest in Buddhism, Taoism and Vedanta. Currently, I have "Three Pillars of Zen" sitting right next to me on my bookshelf but have only read the first couple of chapters. And here in Chicago, Zen sanghas are only minutes away. Yet...I find reasons not to go. I could say that I've just been busy or I'm not much of a "joiner." But these are stories. Undoubtedly, there is some resistance at play. But there is no time like the present. This interview made me feel at ease. The discussion was interesting, and the silent interludes spoke volumes. Thank you 🙏

Wonderful interview, Angelo! Fascinating listening! I feel a resonance with what these ladies are speaking of, in true silence and stillness, even though I don't know how to explain it. This does feel like a calling, or a pulling towards something. Where I don't know. It doesn't make sense 🙃💛

Hi Angelo, I'm wondering what's your opinion about traditional institutes that ask to cover the body. I'm participating in Qigong classes with Shaolin master and everyone should wear clothes that cover solders and knees. I feel like covering the body (from the same reason maybe of separating men and woman, or remove gender's signs) won't help to reduce sexual, attraction...probably the opposite - the more you cover, the mind creat stories, and probably for naked natural body it won't be able to do. I have an issue with it as a woman who'd grow in male energy world that I should cover and now when I see how limiting this consept is and happy to grew from it and learn to love and accept my body as it is, it's important for me to share it. And regarding teaching and traditions, I'm not sure what is the explanation and motivation for it, I think maybe it's better to give tools to explore it and with covering and separating it's like avoiding it.

I guess I'm in a small minority judging by the comments, but zen (and any exotic eastern baggage) is a massive turn-off for me. I went on a buddhist meditation course years ago and had the same feeling. I just can't relate to the very foreign culture, discipline and po-facedness of it all. The robes and gongs and statues just seem silly in 21st century Britain. Thank goodness people like Angelo and Paul Hedderman can put it into words I can understand. I don't mean any disrespect to buddhism, but it's not for me.
