Synopsis:
The German U-Boat, U-234, from the Port of Kiel is trading cargo with the Japanese. USS Seaviper must locate and stop this dangerous exchange. The Captain of USS Seaviper must go ashore to conduct reconnaissance on an island near Sumatra, but the ship is left in the hands of Mister Cutter, after the Executive Officer is injured in battle. A conflict between Cutter and the Chief of the Boat puts the submarine in jeopardy. Seaviper is trapped below the surface, with decreasing oxygen, and a Japanese destroyer hunting them from above. Damage to the boat also leave her survival in question. They must fight the Japanese destroyer and get the information about U-235 back to Pearl Harbor.

Being retired military the is no way in the military anybody would wear flip flops in duty. There is no active US Navy member to be on duty whi hasn't shaved and have a mustache with in regulation.
This film company needs to invest in a military advisor!

Why did we get the same dive sequence and convoy torpedoes etc @ 22:20+ as we did at the start, couldn’t they be bothered to do another scene for the second bit?. If the President personally wanted the best “submarine in the fleet” to carry out the rescue mission why would the captain prefer to attack a convoy BEFORE carrying out the Presidents order?, and by attacking the convoy the captain gave away the fact that the submarine was there and its position close to the island, seems like disobeying his orders, and to the Commander in Chief of the USA 🇺🇸, not a good career move, lol. 😂.
Lots of cuttings from other War movies.. CGI on the periscope action,, with attacking "Tankers" which looked very much like American Destroyers of TODAYS NAVY ????

Sorry but what is an officer doing with a beard in the US Navy. Its never been allowed. cime on what is the go with visuals on the telescope at the start of the movie, it showing warships but they are saying its a tanker. Guess this movies is not worth watching anymore.
Submariners often grow beards, its one of the few perks of not being seen by shore commands for months at a time. The more you know.
