I actually managed to do this back in the original halo 2 while fucking around doing dumb shit with my brother and without having to do any grenade jumps or stuff like that. All you need to do is get to the part where you do the first grenade jump and wait for the front left leg to land on that top floor. Then you have to run into it at the same time it lifts to make another step and if you manage to do it right, you get launched onto the top of the scarab and ride it into the end. Basically just straight up catapulting yourself using the scarab
Ok I just found this by mistake playing halo while messing about, and I jumped on by mistake no grenades needed no special jumps just get on the edge of that drop and junp the game glitches and u super jump, I was so surprised I thought I broke speed running but found this so you dont need to do this but I did it once and was lucky so it may be near impossible and I just nailed it first time

yeah campaign is very realistic and multiplayer seems very artifical somehow.. both have awesome graphics though! imagine halo 2 anniversary campaign as a multiplayer just like halo 2 classic only with the new graphics and not that h2a shit h4 clone

Alright, I’ve gotten to the part where I’m on the scarab early with a checkpoint right on top of it before any enemies inside spawn. I go down the ramp, wait for the grunts to appear, and the run directly to the head up top to shoot the elites through the wall. The elites aren’t in the scarab. Instead, I keep killing red elites up top from through the floor and they spawn endlessly anyway. Kill 3-4 of em and boom, another few spawn below and run up. How do I get it to where the 3 elites needed to end the level spawn where they normally do, at the front inside… I have a great time and checkpoint here but not getting the spawn I need🥺👉🏻👈🏻. Pls help, O great one. Your videos are great and have helped me shave my Halo 2 legendary times down significantly. Currently working towards Monopolized.

DaveWatch Agreed! I got MCC about 5 weeks ago, and spent the 1st 3 weeks just playing CE:A and getting all the ACHVS. Now been playing 2:A for the last 2 weeks. I'm up to about 1800 gamerpoints lol. Just got Legendary ACHV on 2:A last night actually. I've only beat 1 level (Pillar of Autumn) on LASO playlist.... I can't imagine playing all of CE, 2, 3, and 4 on LASO... jesus christ!!!!!
nice! it was really fun for me completing the Legacy in 60 fps and getting the achievements. After that i learned all the speedrunning tricks from nak3d Eli, which was really really fun and now i focus on mastering all the halo games

Doesnt work to grenade jump up to the pole for me, because the pole gets knocked over from the blast. Does this not work on the PC version?

I know I could shave loads of time from my Metropolis run, but last time I tried I got PTSD flashbacks about wraiths and jackals so no thanks.
