Thanks for the review. I thought that my Solterra was defective. I had to use my phone to find the door lock button. The knob for the lights aren’t illuminated either.
It is something people need to know before buying the vehicle. It would be a deal-breaker for me. Some people claim that the RAV4 switch can fit in this vehicle and it is backlit.
Good Video Brother. I am thinking about buying one for my family and confused, should I go for basic premium and save money 9($329 down and 329+ tax a month) or go for Touring( i think I have a deal for Touring 370 a month with 2400 down 36 month lease. what you paid? and what you think will be a good choice? I think 37o for Touring is a good deal but it is 50 a month more and 2500 k down, lol. vs Premium you really don't have to think about. right?
also I disagree about slow charging and less range, I have bunch of friends who owns Tesla but they drive average 60-70 miles a day so why you care for long range. and it is now slow charge any more and most of us do charge at home overnight.
It can be a good car for a lot of people. Most complaints come from charging speed at a fast charger. It charges too slow for taking long trips. If you charge at home and don't travel far then it could be a good option, especially if you need the AWD system. Did you test drive any other EVs before buying it?
So its very nice here, also have better range and less loss of km over time, so what you see when you drive of from a full charge is pretty much what you get if you drive with good grades on the subaru app.
I have one too! Love the vehicle and it’s unique look. People do dislike this car due to charging time and range but it doesn’t bother me at all - I don’t travel out of state very much and 10 mins. more on a DC fast charger is fine with me - everyone is in such a hurry these days it seems. I’ve had the car for 3 weeks and have yet seen another on the road and I like that.
@@ronwatson3237 I plan to try roadtrips with mine, just nice to have some good breaks on the road either way. Anything over 4.5h of driving is hella risky either way.
FYI, thanks for the helpful info. I wish however when you point out buttons to adjust your lighting is better as you can hardly see what your pointing out. TIA
Great video! I love my 2024 Solterra Touring. Fun to drive!

Subaru: Yes we can make good exterior and interior design, but we just dont give a f about those on our ICE cars
This is based on the Toyota beyond zero 4x cars. Not really from Subaru. Just a rebadged EV.

Subaru Solterra, such a hated car, but I dont see it, I love mine to bits, best car I ever had.

@@MikesCarInfo In norway with the panasonic batteries, I reach close to 150kw/h on the fast charging.
