no, a producer is much more than that. A producer is the brains behind a song or project- they organize the engineers, get the beat (most make the beat), help the artist write the song, edit the mix, send to radio (if necessary) and much more.

In the south word play, flow, and swag on a track are the dominating factors. 2 Chainz excels in these areas. You say say he can't rap, but his creativity is at a level that many couldn't reach.
