I'm a big fan of the "Aegis-type" mobile suits (how I call Athrun's gundams throughout Seed and Seed Destiny) and Athrun Zala in general. I have a 1/100 Aegis gundam and a 1/100 Justice. I'm planning to get the Infinite Justice soon.
I'm happy you got this kit. ( coming from someone who happily bought this kit.) I agree with you on the cannons and is why i took them apart. But besides those minor defects its just a fantastic kit. But i can't stress how you require a stand to have it with its jet pack.
The reason why people are demanding a shiny inner frame is because the Infinite Justice is SUPPOSE to come with a platinum inner frame. It is not just the Strike Freedom or Akatsuki that are shinny in the TSA line up but all 3 gundams are shiny. You can see it in the first 5 second of the GSD 4th opening "Vestige" It is during the part where Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice are side by side
Yep this is true. Additionally, the ∞ Justice is able to discharge excess residual energy within the body through the joints' glowing effect, which is silver instead of Strike Freedom's gold. From wiki. Also in remastered many of the shots you can see that it’s shining silverish.
If you paint some chrome silver behind your clear blue or clear part it should light the part up much much better. As for shiny inner frames; The SF feels a bit like a cheat for only having parts shiny gold. That's fine for standard edition but not when you've paid extra for it. Thus all 3 kits would be getting the painted frame treatment form me anyhow. Still, the semi-gray for the IJ is enough for me too. And lead Gundams? Well SEED tends to buck the trend by making Kira and Athrun both lead
Amazing model but in regards to the colour you have to remember that Athrun was somewhat the main antagonist for the majority of SEED and as we all know the customary bad guy colour is usually red/pink. I think it was cool to see a red gundam fighting along side a Red & Blue hero gundam it mixes it up abit :D
I really liked the Infinite Justice more than I thought I would...which is why I was upset when it fell and I lost a couple pieces...I've really got to get another to repair it. Soon.
I have this kit and its FREAKIN amazing. I have it centered rather than my Strike Freedom FBM and Destiny EBM, because of the cool uncommon color scheme.
Got this kit a week ago and finished it today ^^. but cannons and arms have no weight issues but my shield pops out sometime if i move it too much. i got the gundam 30th anniversary edition(with clear kits).
This model is great, as robert said it would.. its amazing though that his reviews are so accurate. The slight problems were the same as my model... but the positives are true as well. This review helped me decide what model to buy.. i got this one., thanks robert.
update on the fact of getting a normal justice. they are making a 2.0 for the freedom gundam coming out early next year, so we might see a justice later next year.
haha at the one person who disliked all of the parts also, great review and it's awesome to see reviews of non lead gundams and the model looks fantastic
Great mobile suit, great gunpla... The weight issues you mention - well I haven't got those so I guess that it's a specific problem of your kit. I repainted the kit dark red, because I hate the pink they used... Eitther way, as always, great review mate!
Personally find that the backpack colour don't really gel with the colour of the mobile suit.. Think the strike gundam iwsp is a much cooler 'ariel' gundam. Hmm..
great review as always... :) i would jst like to point out that i never had a problem with lose joints on my infinite justice... even with the shoulder canons... they stay up pretty good.. i guess i just got lucky.. by the way... im kinda curious... does the effect parts light up under the black light? wish u could test it... thanks rob and more reviews to come... :)
The infinite justice's shield can be justified but wtf is with the Destiny's physical shield what does it except for take up space?? Since it has beam shields
You have to buy it yourself. Most gunplas don't come with action bases with a few exceptions.Try look for pictures of the box or reviews of whatever you want to buy (they usually say if the gunpla comes with a base).
Would you recommend this gundam to anyone starting out on buying SEED Destiny model kits? I admit, the mechaninal designs are top-notch in both series', but I don't want waste my money on every single kit.
@That1awesomeguy Who knows, right? He either dislikes the Seed/Destiny universe, the Infinite Justice, Athrun Zala, rrobert184, multi-part reviews, or all of the above.
Well after building this kit, I'm very satisfied with it. Anyway, I don't have any problems with the kit at all. Regardless, it's a great kit and once again thanks for the convincing review:)
I wish we would get master grade zaku warrior, gouf ignited, ginn, legend, providence, strike dagger, strike 2.0, windam, justice, savior, and blast impulse. sadly, we probably won't get half of those, legend is a possibility and so is blast impulse, but the rest probably not
smoked buns they wont even make a color accurate one. What makes you think theyll make a PG or RG? Justice and Infinite Justice are in Lacus Clyne colors instead of ZAFT/Char like in the anime. They also make a Lacus Clyne figurine for them just to prove the point it is not Athrun's gundam. Hell, she never even piloted them. Lastly that inner frame of Infinite Justice should be shiny from the start. You should feel robbed if it comes as a special edition for those colors and inner frame. What i would hope to get is more addition and details in the back/rear of the gundam. The back of her head and even the skirt is so bare that it hurts. Its like it was left out hoping no one would notice.
easily the destiny. With the wings it absolutely blows this thing out of the water. And the weapons are far more interesting. Plus it has a better color scheme.

We now have a Justice Gundam in MG!!
If you paint some chrome silver behind your clear blue or clear part it should light the part up much much better.

theres a certain way to put the beam sabers into the side skirts that will hold it incredibly well.
@jabman025
yeah it kinda is optional you realy dont need it it just makes it better
I love my Infinite Justice so much :'D
I really liked the Infinite Justice more than I thought I would...which is why I was upset when it fell and I lost a couple pieces...I've really got to get another to repair it. Soon.
Just got this kit and building it tomorrow. Let's see whether I have the same problems which rrobert got.....
I list the little clear chest piece that goes under the vent and accidentally damaged the hand frames trying to put the damn fingers in.
I have this kit and its FREAKIN amazing. I have it centered rather than my Strike Freedom FBM and Destiny EBM, because of the cool uncommon color scheme.

They should have had a special version for this that had LED's in the head for the main camera and eyes.
update on the fact of getting a normal justice. they are making a 2.0 for the freedom gundam coming out early next year, so we might see a justice later next year.
@jabman025 i have the HG version clear color but it really sucks, cause it cant do any poses without a base :((((
rrobbert is this infinity justice can put on the action base without the backpack
When I built the kit, it reminded me of Rekka armor from Samurai trooper.
i have mg destiny and mg strike freedom. should i get this or force impulse ? which one is funner to build/ better posing and accesories?
@ScottyMcboy No, it has to be MG Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode!!!!!
This Gundam has so many weapons I love it
yeah, because the infinite justice has arm-mounted beam shield generators, dragoons, dual beam rifles and cannons and stuff. :)
The Backpack has gone a long long way since the High Grade
Where did you get that mask?
When r u ever gonna do Strike Freedom?
I think I'm gonna order this along with the new MG Death Scythe when it comes out.
This is the best kit i have ever built! My favorite one on my shelf.
Lame
@@pauloravena1298 we all have different taste so whats soo lame about it???
@@richard6200 your taste
@@pauloravena1298 pretty sure your favorite character was nicol amalfi
yes you can put it in a base without the back pack
haha at the one person who disliked all of the parts
also, great review and it's awesome to see reviews of non lead gundams and the model looks fantastic

@rrobbert184, Would you recommend me getting the infinite justice or the strike freedom?
Over all Infinite Justice is one of those rare gundams from Seed and Seed Destiny that gets hardcore UC fan like me can exept.
The infinite justice's shield can be justified but wtf is with the Destiny's physical shield what does it except for take up space?? Since it has beam shields
@AlphaKirby000 yeah, dude he did an review on this, but not gundam.tk
what about a special edition of legend gundam ?
what kind of stand are you using? im doing a secret santa and was thinking about getting this for him and getting a stand for him too
Can u do a review of Mg Destiny Gundam Extreme Burst mode?
hey robert you put your gundam on the shelf?
You have to buy it yourself. Most gunplas don't come with action bases with a few exceptions.Try look for pictures of the box or reviews of whatever you want to buy (they usually say if the gunpla comes with a base).
i was wondering if the justice comes with an action base or did you have to go out and buy one
rrobbert's branching out? mmm, will we see Zaku's in his future?
Would you recommend this gundam to anyone starting out on buying SEED Destiny model kits? I admit, the mechaninal designs are top-notch in both series', but I don't want waste my money on every single kit.
@That1awesomeguy
Who knows, right?
He either dislikes the Seed/Destiny universe, the Infinite Justice, Athrun Zala, rrobert184, multi-part reviews, or all of the above.
@evoracer86 Indeed my friend. Its the master of short range combat. I bught mine for around $60 - $70 and i can honestly say its money well spent.
Another thing I had to do was to glue in the rockets that go on the backpack.
I was thinking about buying this as my first model...cuz I'm new to this...what do you think...any tips would help
i just want a special edition Infinite Justice because it might come with its own special action base and special effect parts.
Infinite Justice is my fav out of the three.
You got the box scratched!
How about a Fatum boomerang? lol
Hi What are your thoughts on Panel lining for this Gundam?
Always...
Well after building this kit, I'm very satisfied with it. Anyway, I don't have any problems with the kit at all. Regardless, it's a great kit and once again thanks for the convincing review:)

Ban Dai shuda make a Perfect Grade Infinite Justice. well that's just me.
smoked buns they wont even make a color accurate one.

Yeah i feel this gundam deserves a 2.0 treatment
Does the kit come with a stand?
Wizardly Yum Yum nope
@nos52 He finally DID a mg
i think he meant the FINALMENTE
Never enough beam sabres. never enough
I see nothing wrong with it as long as its on an action base its good to go imo.
easily the destiny. With the wings it absolutely blows this thing out of the water. And the weapons are far more interesting. Plus it has a better color scheme.
they should have included an action base for this kit,, like c'mon this kit really I mean REALLY needs an action base
@Zidane1157 as am I.
Well, we have a Justice now😊
will they ever make a master grade forbidden gundam??/ sighhh... that gundam has such a unique design
Bandai has made most of athrun's gundam MG except the saviour.WHY BANDAI JUST WHY??
I think you just inspired me to make one myself
review mg strike freedom!!!!!
awesome review ^^
they should have included an action base for this kit,, like c'mon this kit really I mean REALLY needs an action base its pricey it pricey! =.="
shiny silver parts? then you also get puky silver ^^
infinite justice does NOT have dragoons
Give me RG infinite justice Bandai!!!
Meisyu why a RG?
PG is better isn’t it?
Fulgur Killua 00 you're right, then we need a pg Destiny as well xD
is infinite justice different than Justice? we have an RG Justice
Christian Edwards I like Infinite Justice's backpack more. Well, if they have strike freedom and density. Why leave IJ out
no action base for this kit makes me really not want to buy it
I love the design of the MS but the only thing I dislike is the unicorn antenna in the head. Is horrible!!!!!
just makin a point
where the hell is mg legend
It's sarcasm
who cares, it looks cool
Ugh that ugly gundam again lame!!!
