The police came to my home with about 10 officers and as I casually walked outside to see what the commotion was 3 cops pointed their guns in my face. They said they got a call that I was armed and dangerous. I was not armed and was completely calm and passive. The cops then entered my home without a warrant and seized my property which included a 12 gauge shotgun. They then lied entirely about the incident in their report using quadruple hearsay and not including the names of the officers that entered my home. They also said I gave them my property also not true. They omitted that they had 3 guns pointed at me. I was not arrested and I have no criminal history. They violated both my 2nd and 4th amendments. They have no suspicion, but the stop is their opportunity to do one more warrant check. "...to score more points, available from calls, hunt. This means searching for people to arrest by stopping cars and questioning people on the street. This approach seems haphazard, but it works. The reason is that most serious crimes are solved not by dogged detective work, but by street policing by a cop who stops someone suspicious and says, “Hey you, come over here! Got some ID?” That’s right. Merely by pulling over cars and stopping people on the street, police catch an astounding number of bad guys." (from the book "Arrest-Proof Yourself" by Dale Carson, 2007)

Without having a You Tube Channel (Audience) then his conduct in filming in public WOULD NOT be Constitutionally Protected. If you want to argue that one, Google US Supreme Court and public photography and you will find the ONLY case the SC has ruled on concerning Public Photography where they RULED AGAINST THE PHOTOGRAPHER.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn......No one needs a channel nor an audience to video the cops/Public Officials at work, per 11th District Federal Court, Smith vs City of Cumming. SCOTUS has already Ruled video in Public is a RIGHT (no channel/audience needed) and anything one can see from Public is legal. One cannot make a RIGHT illegal.
@@snafubar5491 Partially False. Let's Start with SCOTUS. The SC has only ruled on one case involving Photography in public, which is the closest case they have rule on to public video/filming, and they established two basic criteria for your content to gain F/A protection. Basically it is that you have a message of interest and an audience to receive it. They actually ruled against the plaintiff saying there was NO General First Amendment Right to take photos in public. It may not be illegal, but the First Amendment does NOT attach merely because you have a camera. Now as far as Smith V Cumming, yes the 11th US Circuit ruled, which is often generalized more than the specifics ruled on, that we have a First Amendment Right to record the Police in the performance of their duties when they ARE OUT in public. When the SC, or CCoA makes a ruling it is supposed to be specific to the case decided on. Now this decision has been misconstrued to encompass people thinking they have a right to record any governmental employee in any governmental building (publicly owned building), and not only doesn't that ruling establish that right, the very 11th Circuit has subsequent rulings that actually contradict that misinterpretation. Merely because a building is owned by thge government (public) does not grant the right of public access for whatever purpose they want. The Government, just like a private landlord has the right to retain the use of their property to it's intended purpose. You can read "Sheets VS City of Punta Gorda, and you can read the references made to those 11th Cir court decisions and others, in the case which decided that The City of Punta Gorda's ordinance prohibiting the recording of city employees without their permission in City Hall was legal and Constitutional. This was decided by a FEDERAL District Ct Judge that sits in the 11TH Circuit.

I once lived in Monroe County for a number of years. I always felt like the folks have a great Sheriff as well as Officers. Brad Freeman is the Sheriff at the time you made the video. Prior to him the Sheriff was Cary Biddie and his father before him. Great video as usual. Thanks for all you do. It amazes me that they always assume, that the person asserting THEIR RIGHTS is ONLY doing it for a negative reason. 🤔
The very essence of your rights and the reason they exist is to protect you from the government. Accordingly, the government is supposed and expected to overcome them. If it did not, these rights wouldn't even exist. This is what every government agent is doing, it's literally his job, and he is trained and expected to do it.

I hurt my neck from shaking my head so much. "I know exactly what you're doing, you want me to approach you." SO DON'T APPROACH ME!!
It’s real funny how fast he changed his tune. He was going to demand your ID there for a moment then he was going to get nasty for a moment then he tuned himself back real quick. Indeed. I would love to see their faces when they go back and tell their superiors that they couldn't get an I D, lol. "They" train them to use every trick/tactic in the book to be able to run the names. If everyone stood up for their rights you could put 60% or more of "their" coproaches out of a job.

The cops had my mother a witness to their crimes murdered for later attempting to press charges against them. Great job Jeff.....That cop really wanted to give you a hard time and get your ID, but your cool, intelligent, polite manner threw him for a loop.....
Cop: *Tries to get identification unlawfully*
Cop: So you’re just trying to get a negative response and show people the wrong we do?
I always find it amusing when the cops complain about being baited or it being a trap. They are apparently too stupid to realize what that says about them. Hunters and fishermen use traps and bait to catch animals dumb enough to take the bait or fall into the trap. The cops are essentially admitting that they are like dumb animals.
Kinda giving the wrong impression there, mate. He's asking for ID, which is legal. If he were demanding ID under the threat of arrest, or detaining Jeff, THAT would be unlawful. Up to that bright line standard, it is not unlawful, only unjustified. He's being an ass, but that's not unlawful.
Little Johnny: “Teacher why did you GIVE me an F on my report card? “

Imagine if we had a few Jeffs in each city of the country. And then imagine how much of a difference that would make. Thanks for what you do, Jeff!
There is only 1 Jeff
With the “you could be…” excuse, they could use that to stop & I.D. everyone, even though that’s not the law…🤬
I could look at any vehicle passing by, and say, “they could be transporting large amounts of narcotics, they could have a kidnap victim in their vehicle, or they could have stolen property in their vehicle,” all with no evidence to support my assumption. 😳
Just love how in almost every first amendment audit videos so many cops show up for 1 person with a camera. Imagine how many actual criminals are getting away with actual crimes while the cops waste their time on a law abiding citizen.
Ay 5:20 I was so stoked to finally hear an auditor say " let's say that's true let's say I am here testing you," unfortunately the guy interrupted you but I really was looking forward to what was about to come out of your mouth. I'm sure would be something to the effect of" if I am testing you then why don't you do the right thing instead of doing the wrong thing you have a perfect opportunity to make yourself look great". There's nothing more hypocritical than ironic when cops say I know what you're doing you hear baiting us blah blah blah and then they continue to go along that same route and bite the bait as hard as they can
I always think it's funny when they say "so you're baiting us". Like has no cop ever watched Bait Car? I bet my left arm that, when those dirtbags get pulled up, the cops never say to them "Yeah sure, we baited you. Off you go."
That's stupid to say. Never give cops scenarios that they can take seriously and use against you. No auditor is that good. Even lawyers know not to talk too much.

If people drop things off outside, they have to be taken inside by prison staff. Sounds like that’s who they need to keep an eye on.
False. Very often there are what are called Trustees that work on the outside of the prison. That is actually a common occurrence that people leave contraband along the perimeter and trustees etc pick it up. Although prison staff bringing contraband in is a big problem, they generally don't pick up stuff left along the outside perimeter.

Once again, a situation where I have the same question - HOW IS JEFF'S ID GOING QUELL THEIR SUSPICION that a crime has been commited?
I think they are just seeing if we're obedient, but even if so, they'd still want more and more. Hunting for arrests is all they know.
It won't. But its a matter of control.
Exactly! Maybe he's committed 50 crimes and they just haven't caught him for anything yet, so he wouldn't appear as a threat.
Or maybe they're hoping somebody will have a similar name that is on their radar for something that they could arrest him for and pretend they didn't realize it was somebody else just to F with him.
I know right!
I would love to see the topics policed are trained in. Something tells me the Bill of Rights is skipped over.
They cover it…with bullet holes as they use it for target practice at the gun range where 95% of their training takes place.
Most subjects cover only their own self-preservation. A handful hours about laws and here you go as fresh-made Blue ISIS member.

Also, thank you for pointing out how your most popular audit was about officials who respected your rights. I was very, very pleased to learn that. You are the best Sir! Thank you for what you do.
YOU WERE SUSPECTED OF BEING SUSPICIOUS. Mere suspicion is not enough for detainment or identification: Palmer V. City of Euclid, Supreme Court (1971) “A policeman has a duty to investigate suspicious circumstances, but government does not have constitutional power to make that circumstance, without more, a criminal offense.” “Defendant was detained mainly on a “hunch.” “The basis of the detention needs some facts other than “mere whim, idle curiosity, or inarticulable hunch.”
Shocked the sh!t out of him when you readily agreed! “Yes. I am testing you.” You should have added that you’re also doing an IQ test, cuz he was dumb enough to continue asking for your ID.
You can ASK for id in a consensual encounter without it being an Investigative Detention/Terry Stop.

Appreciate all you do, Sir!
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn.......Partially False is like being alittlebit pregnant. Photography is not video, per se, and there is the Letter of the Law and Sprit of the Law. What isn't forbidden, is allowed. The 'interest' is my own and I am the 'audience', problem solved. If it is not illegal, means it is not against the Law, now is it??? Huff-n-puff all you want. I noticed you are taking some leaps Superman/woman would be jealous of. Just as one cannot be trespassed from Public just because some folks feelings are hurt, is not a Law, but a misinterpretation and a very broad one at that. If what you say is true, why are Auditors winning lawsuits for being illegally arrested for filming and/or trespassed in Public Buildings??? It ain't because the Govt is warm and fuzzy, now is it??? Even Dept of Homeland Security put out a memo saying filming in Public Areas IS Legal, and can bet your bottom dollar if it was illegal, they'd be all over that like turd-rolling bugs on fresh sheeit......but they aren't.
