What a beautiful place, and I really enjoyed the video. Mt. Charleston sure looks more serene than Incline Village. And by the way, you can buy annual passes from the Forest Service, which may save you some money if you frequent places like this or like Lake Mead. Switching gears, there have been, unfortunately, a lot of suspicious fires lately in places like Maui, which don't look right. Such as cars burning so hot it melts the aluminum and glass, yet the grass the car is parked on didn't burn. Or trees that burned from the inside out. Not saying anything nefarious about the lodge fire. Just pointing out that we are living in strange times, and a lot of things simply aren't adding up.

One thing I remember about living in Vegas is that it was possible to snow ski at Lee Canyon in the morning and water ski on Lake Mead in the afternoon.

Thank you for your time. I went up there about 6 years ago and saw the lodge and went inside. Now I'm glad that i did... it's a Shame it burnt down. It was really truly an eye-catching lodge! I Took some pictures, too! Now I'll have to go looking for them again in the cloud.

I never saw what the Original Mt. Charleston lodge looked like so I have no reference to what it looked like but sounds like its going to double or even triple in size and amenities which is good maybe they should build it out of concrete like the Ahwhanee lodge in Yosemite it looks like wood but almost entire hotel is poured concrete most national park lodges are built with fire proof materials.

$30 to park at most places in Chicago. The hotels don't supply parking so you pay for your hotel as well as parking.
