Decided! I've watched this announcement over and over with unwavering excitement! Thank you, Verge Motorcycles family, for your continuous growth, passion and expertise! HUGE plus for the retroactive upgrade to current orders!
Wow, I was thinking you guys would come up something with CV tech and you did it, another feature would be to know incoming heavy vehicles in the blind turning/corners scenarios, CV and Lidar all the way. You guys are absolutely geniuses.
I can see a paired helmet HUD like car windshields have being very useful for radar that can show vehicles behind others as they are so often the danger. Free upgrades? Kudos, that's amazing.
The best part I see here is that the rimless tire assembly makes true Tron LightBikes possible. Well... And that any wheeled vehicle would benefit from this.
@vergemotorcycles sure thing! If I had more flexibility with my income, I'd certainly put money down for new electric bike. The addition of saddlebags and other accoutrement also helps the prospective buyer see past their (largely unwarranted) range concerns.
Charging in the USA and Canada is done through the NACS plug which the bikes will come standard. We are in the process of acquiring certificates and sales permission in the USA. We plan to start sales and deliveries in the USA in Q3/2024. You can already make a preliminary reservation to be one of the first to receive one once we start shipping.
Hey! Thank you for asking! We take cybersecurity seriously and prioritize the safety of our bikes at all times. To ensure robust protection against tampering and unauthorized access, we collaborate with top experts, including Mikko Hyppönen, a renowned cybersecurity authority and Chief Research Officer at WithSecure, who serves on our advisory board.
Hi, Our bike does not have self-balancing technology. However, its innovative design, including a low center of gravity, ensures a stable and smooth ride. If you have any more questions or need further details, feel free to ask!
Ohh okay. I just want a two seater version of this bike that has the starmatter safety features. Will you guys bring those features to the TS Pro?@@vergemotorcycles
All Verge motorcycles are powered by Starmatter, our groundbreaking software and intelligence platform, offering seamless over-the-air updates to the very core of the bike, next gen HMI-technology, smart hardware capabilities and powerful data and artificial intelligence.
If you are looking at the screen, is nomal that you are not going to see the car in front stop.... I like the motorcycle, but there is no point on adding extra display that we are just not going to use..... It will provoque more accidents than save lifes!!
New features through OTA updates are only OTA if you've made any deliveries. What's the ETA on doing 10 thousand deliveries a Year, then per Month, etc. Features are cool but a bike in the hand is worth way more fun than a new feature you can't use yet. Until people can start to see independant reviews of the range and speed to 60mph etc then they are going to keep holding off placing an order. I will say though if you can actually deliver over 240miles of range per charge and you have fast charge capabilities, you will likely sell heaps of bikes. No fast charge and you will fail like the rest. Fast charging is an absolute minimum requirement for a sale of any EV these days, especially going forward. Even if the bike can only charge at 50kilowatts, it's still way better than lvl 2 charge speeds. Edit: I just saw on the CES video you were charging with a CCS adaptor. At around 19kilowatts / 60miles an hour, which for a bike is ok but not great. I'd say up that to 50 kilowatts if possible, even if you need to add water cooling while charging. With that taken into account if you can keep the price competitive, you should be onto a winner. Just focus on the manufacturing. Like Elon tells us, prototypes are easy, making 5000 a week is hard.
Thank you for the feedback! We understand the price may seem high, but it reflects our unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and providing an unparalleled riding experience.
115mph top speed? No thanks. Any bike that has over 700hp and over 700 lb/ft of torque that can't do 300km/hr isn't competitive to other sport bikes. Add to the fact that it can only do 200km on a charge at those low speeds, well no thank you.
'For example, if a car is approaching you from behind at a high speed, the bike may tell you to give way by moving to the side of the road.' Oh. I'm sorry. Who's riding this fucking bike? Me or itself??? This alone has entirely put me.lff this bike. What god damn right does the car have to the road over me? The car should drive appropriate for the traffic ahead of it no?
How can you possibly make 1200N/m of torque? That's impossible for a 150kW motor, look at similar electric machines... you just made that up to fraud and sell more.
Tesla's auto driver has been driving under trucks and killing the drivers. Having a large touch screen is not what you want on a bike, something to take your attention away from riding. Why do you not ask people what they want before making changes. The largest problem for me is the price, I could get a nice car for 30k to 40k euro that is a metal box that shields you from rain and hail and what you can drive in winter with no issues. Most people that ride bikes are young and do not have that kind of money to spend on a toy and the people that have the money have reached an age that they are more interested in comfort than dealing with the weather. If you want to put people on your bikes the base price is to much and the fancy fake green screen graphics just reduce your credibility.
Your points are all valid...for YOU, in the same way YOU are not buying a Ferrari. People who want Ferrari’s, buy Ferrari’s. Ferrari’s have buttons for indicators and several features that your 40k BMW doesn’t etc etc etc. “Most people”, this bike isn’t aimed at just “most people”, the same way a Ferrari isn’t aimed at “most people”. Come on Mr Cream Truck Log 69, let’s realize the context before venting and realize the ground breaking stuff this can do. If this catches on, all bikes will have cameras and a hell of a lot safer…oh wait, just like Tesla within the car industry. To the Verge Team, just amazing
If you and Mr. Truck prefer your lifestyle the way it has always been that's ok for you two. However, it's not okay to try to force everyone else, with old inaccurate information, to live or think like you have been. Some of us like to push beyond the maps drawn for us. You can be angry at new fangled technology and methods or whatever else. Just politely keep it to ya'll selves, please.
@@obeii1805 Verge is at the same stage Tesla was with the OG roadster, when everyone said “it will never work”. they aren’t trying to say they are Kawasaki just yet 😅😅 great answer brewski 🤙
You're either completely misinformed or you haven't done your homework! Anyone who's never ridden a bike might think this is all good stuff... but believe me, it is quite the opposite! Motorcyclists do not need constant distractions whilst riding a bike. In a modern car, these constant interventions are annoying and distracting at best. All they do is shift your concentration and attention away from the art of driving safely towards unhelpful dashboard warnings. It's dangerous. On a motorbike, where there's much more going on than in a car, anything that adds to the many things you should be concentrating on, like staying alive, would be seriously unwanted, and inevitably lead to an accident. Just because you can do this digitally doesn't mean you should! Instead, spend your R&D budget developing technology that people actually want... like smaller, lighter motors, and small light batteries that charge in a heartbeat for instance. Achieving this will give you a point of difference and competitive advantage... stop wasting your time & money on unnecessary and unwanted gizmos that don't add any value. Focus on truly understanding what your customers really want and innovate right there.
We appreciate your concern and understand the importance of focus and safety while riding. At Verge Motorcycles, safety is a top priority, and we design our bikes with this in mind. The quietness of our electric motorcycles enhances riders' ability to be aware of their surroundings, without the distraction of engine noise. We're committed to refining our technology to meet the real needs of riders, focusing on innovations that enhance both the riding experience and safety.
...and your inane reply tells me you've completely failed to understand or even recognise any of the points I've made, and reinforced your ignorance by suggesting bikes with no engine noise are safer. Wrong! The majority of noise on a bike is wind noise not engine noise... and this noise isn't a distraction because it's constant and consistent with speed. What will certainly create constant distractions are your ridiculous electronic systems that actually add no value. No governing body in their right mind would approve & certificate what you're doing. So, if you really don't want to listen to good reason from a road & track motorcyclist with over 50 years experience, then good luck wasting your time & money.
😂😅😂 I'm a Biker not a Cyborg. I wanna ride and not beeing disturb by stupid Electronic. Feeling the freedom a real Motorbike gives you is different. RD350LCF ( 2 stroke ) or older Big bikes ( CBX 1050cc etc etc ).❤. Electronic Bikes can go real fast but they have no soul.😂😅😂
Thank you for your feedback! The lack of engine noise and vibrations can make electric bikes feel different from traditional ones. However, many riders find that the instant torque, smooth acceleration, and futuristic feel give them a unique thrill and personality of their own! ⚡⚡⚡
Haha, you’re totally right! The quiet ride is perfect for sneaking around narrow streets without waking up the whole neighborhood. We’d love to bring the bike to Japan-hopefully, we can make that happen in the future! Stay tuned!

But what is with TS Pro???
"Verge Motorcycles is proud to announce significant updates to our flagship model, the Verge TS Ultra."
Will these features also come to the Pro model as well sometime later? Loving these!
Fantástica, surreal!
How much do all these cameras and sensors affect your ability to split lanes and such?

Saw this at the CES 24 in Vegas.
If it has no hub, what is the rear fender attached to?
800 ft/lb on a "hubless" bearing. 🤔
Take a look at the mounting on the inner-fixed ring, the same one the swing arm is attached to. It’s genius

can i buy it in slovenia?
Lots of "updates" but have you shipped any bikes to customers yet?
Shipments started already in 2023 to multiple countries.
