    QUICK GUIDE INSTRUCTIONS:
    PREPARATION
    Prepare the surface for Cabinet & Furniture Top Coat (optional step). If needed, lightly hand sand the previous coat of Primer using 220 grit sandpaper or a maroon or green Scotch-Brite pad. Ensure the Paint Color is dry before sanding and wipe away dust with a cloth. This will eliminate imperfections or contaminants from the previous step. If the surface is smooth, you can skip sanding the primer before applying the Base Paint.
    APPLICATION
    Methods of Application: Brush, Roller, or Paint Sprayer.
    Sir thoroughly before use with a paint stick. Apply 1-2 uniform coats of Cabinet & Furniture Paint in your color choice as needed for coverage. Allow the first coat to fully dry 2-3 hours before the second coat if needed. Lightly hand sand the previous coat using 220 grit sandpaper or a maroon Scotch-Brite pad to eliminate imperfections or contaminates.
    APPLICATION PROCESS:
    For applying paint color to routed or 3D details of a cabinet door or the intricate perimeter of a cabinet drawer, and the sharp corners of the face frame, utilize an angled nylon paint brush. Keep from overloading the fine details with paint. See our tutorial on our RUclips channel for detailed video instruction. You Got This!
    Use a ⅛’’ Nap Microfiber roller to apply Paint Color to the flat sections of the cabinet doors, drawers, and face frames. Use your roller length of choice, 4’’, 6’’ or 9’’
    CLEAN UP
    Remove all paint splatters and drips.. Wash all brushes, rollers, and equipment immediately with warm water, use dish soap if desired.

    I am glad a new product came out for cabinets. Not just Rustoleum any more! When I get a new place, I'm going to do this same process. Even go to Portland to learn the process!😊😊😊
    One amateur trick is to put the hardware in seperate zip lock baggies then label them so you know where they go.

      Stome coat counter tops.
      I get the durability on doors and such. My question is, how does it stand up to knives, hot pots and such for counter tops, islands and table tops?
      I am interested in re doing my kitchen but would the counter tops be more durable and lasting to use real granite, marble etc
      Thanks, I really am learning a lot. Look forward to my first project

    As a retired Painter/home remodeler guy there's a few technique tips I could chime in with, but I understand this is directed at DIY'ers, so I won't. Love your epoxy products. Did my 1st time epoxy coating on my own newly remolded kitchen and it came out beautiful. My only slight disappointment were the colors choices I made while mixing some containers up were too dominant. Next time I know. Keep these vids coming. Thx

    I'm assuming that with laminate cupboards that are already delaminating, it would be best to just get new doors? Those look really nice!! 👍 They fit well with Rhonda's country vibe!! 👏👏

      The laminated doors and drawer fronts actually come apart fairly easily. I had one that was cracked so I took it down and the entire laminated part peeled right off when I pulled on it. The rest that weren't starting to separate took me a bit to figure a trick. Eventually, I used my heat gun and they all peeled off easily. Painting was easy once the laminate was removed.

    I just finished applying your countertop epoxy to my kitchen counters and plan to paint the cabinets next.

    Mitch, we bought a house with linoleum countertops. The countertop and backsplash are all one piece and continues up the wall to the bottom of cabinets. So its one big piece to handle without having to rip out linoleum repair sheeyrocj, etc. Trying to jeep it sumple

    • @ibrockinrobin67
      @ibrockinrobin67 3 месяца назад

      I have the same issue. I think I'll just run a tape line for the countertops, then I plan to tile the backsplash.

    • @thomassaldana823
      @thomassaldana823 3 месяца назад

      @ibrockinrobin67 great idea. What we thought about doing was placing butcher block on top of the existing formica staining the edges and then using a faux stone as the back splash. It's a porous stone so we'd have to figure out how to seal it. Perhaps using the wall method as a plaster and adhering the pieces to that to make sure there's no water penetration. Also, the butcjer block will raise the height of the countertop.

    • @StoneCoatCountertops

      The system is designed for that application also. Our primer will block wood tannins from ghosting though the paint down the road. Two thin coats is all that is needed.
