This game is cool until the second part. I just quit after realize how hard it is to defeat every single boss and grinding feels useless. Have to change the skills on growth map for every fight sucks too. Great game, tho.
The game is designed where you really cannot rely on grinding but pure strategy and learning boss patterns. I totally agree tho that it gets exhausting to do this over and over again for every boss including mini bosses to an extent.
i hate grinding in games so i like that, plus changing growth map is cool too. the real problems are the game explain boss weakpoints to you (you should discover it alone, or you know, there's always internet) and yes, some battles are needlessy hard. for this boss (optional) and some others it's good, but some minibosses shouldn't be that hard, and three, there's too much less choice to fight. i get there's optimal ways to kill it faster (we talk about regular difficulty, not NG+) but some bosses are too hard to fight without the best strategy, and that should applicate only on secret/final boss. about phase 3 final boss... fuck that
