For how much hype Giovanni gets for their gel, tea tree oil shampoo, and air foam, im really surprised that there has been crickets about the Curl Habit line. Is there a reason??

Have you had a chance to try the new Innersense I Create Definition foam yet? My curly stylist recommended it to me and it's honestly one of the best hold products I have ever used. My very fine hair usually only lasts until about day 2 before I lose all definition and I have to keep it up in a bun until my next wash day. With the Innersense foam, my hair keeps its definition until day 5. Day FIVE. And that's with only using 5 to 6 pumps of the foam for my whole head of hair, a little goes a LONG way with this stuff. I find it helps to use a leave-in conditioner underneath it since it makes your hair Very crunchy. Seriously, if you haven't tried it you really need to. This stuff is magic in a bottle.

Thank you for these videos! I learn so much from you. I have low-porosity wavy hair (now with a body perm, which I love!) and I live in a humid climate. It took me a while to realize the glycerin is not my friend (Frizz 😮) and protein also doesn't play well with my hair type. I've been using the CR ginger rinse shampoo, TGIN green tea super moist leave-in, and the CR curl maker gel... and having good results so far! My favorite brand❤❤❤❤ I have curl maker, the shampoo sweet ginger and curl love moisture milk❤️ I don't like to buy too many products at once, when one runs out I just replace it with a new one. I pair curl maker with a little bit of Giovanni strong hold gel, works great.

Loving the one brand washday. But is love to see what your go-to/ favorite washday combo is. I know I've found a combo that I seem to consistently get pretty good results with. But since it's my deep cleanse and deep conditioner day, I only can do it about once a week. Anyway, it would be interesting to see which combo you like for your personal favorite results. (though with everything you try maybe you don't have a go-to anymore, just keep experimenting. 😅)

I love the series and I love to watch your videos and have been doing it for a year. One thing I will say, just a quick tip. Since your hair is not naturally curly, hence saying you need products to curl your hair. When you play with your hair too much. Your break the curl clumps and families. That’s why your hair doesn’t last more than a day. I assume and correct me if I’m wrong that you probably play with your hair all day, I mean I don’t blame you. But try to not run your fingers through your hair after you get rid of the cast. Your hair is not naturally curly at all so it’s gonna go back to the way it naturally sits. ❤

I have enjoyed this series as I like your videos. As I only wash my hair once a week and it can get dry as the white makes it higher porosity I still use all the products 😊

I like the camille rose gel under a mousse for more cast without adding too much weight .... as a fine headed wavy if i don't get a SUPER hard cast my day 2-4 hair gets really stringy, but too much gel will make it too heavy and flat. First world problems 😂

I’d be really curious to see a video using the CurlyWorld products, which are Lorraine Massey’s current product since she left DevaCurl. Nobody on RUclips seems to be using them and with her being the instigator of the “Curly Girl Method” I’d love to see how her products hold up against all these others that have come in her wake.

question for you...I live in Texas have really bad hard water and every time I wash my hair it snarles so bad and even when I use conditioner it takes awhile to detangle and I lose so much hair is it the hard water or my shampoo I'm using jessicurl moisturizing shampoo
Try out one of those cheap water filters for the shower. Can't say for sure that it works but I've been using one for 2-3 months and I think there is an improvement. Also try a Tangle Teaser (or knockoff) and use it while you're in the shower with the water running over your hair. I have fine hair that tangles easy too, at least before I bought that brush - lifesaver. Are you using a conditioner?

Oh the smell of this mask is incredible!! Also their coconut water leave-in is fairly lightweight while helping the hair to clump.

Using gel on soaking wet hair definitely prevent the cast to set in.

Im all for simplicity and minimalism this year. My hair may not look 100% at its best every wash day and I am OK with that.
