Original 80-90s Fahrenheit was the most sexy, exotic, mesmerising fragrance i ever had the pleasure of using. Dior need to bring that exact version back!!
There is a brand, that advertises exactly that. TC perfume, name is 'Resolute'. Very positive reviews and many saying they had an instant flashback. And that it's got way more of the old gasoline vibe. Maybe give it a try. It's not expensive, so blind buy is not a big risk. If you should purchase, please share your experience, because I don't know how the Original smells like. I think about buying it as a gift for my father. Sending him back to his youth.🙂
Spot on video brother. My mom bought me a bottle back in the early 90’s for Christmas. I was like the only guy at the clubs who had it at the time. It smelled incredible,,,I would have girls come up and smell me! So when recently bought a bottle, 30 years later, I immediately thought it was a fake! It smelled similar, but not as smooth. The original was a sensory delight!
I wore this as soon as it came out and loved it's difference, enjoyed it for 4 yrs before a scent association brought an abrupt halt. Fahrenheit went beyond nice matching my other big hitters and Guerlains that I wore. I haven't tried the latest or reforms. It kinda became a joke early 90's because it became so popular. I'm glad it's getting respect now as when it was released it really was a statement.
In my country, this fragrance was over-used by the wrong people in the early 90s, just like with Sauvage today, and it got a bad rep. These days very few use it. I haven't smelled this fragrance on someone for a long time. I'm the only one using it.
About 2 years back I tracked down a 1991 bottle (with box, wrapped i celophane). I was dissapointed that it smelled stale. I kept trying to save by giving it time, spraying it more and so on, but every few months I'd try again and it was still stale on the top. It did come together a little but the top notes were awful. Fast forward to today and it's wearable. Everything smells right. FYI, I first smelled this on a classmate in 1995/96. That's what triggered my fascination with fragrances.
What a time and fragrance to enter the game, Benjamin. Fahrenheit is certainly one to tip the scales of curiosity. Thanks for sharing with us, Sir! Be well;))
Just got a 50ml from 2003, it's honestly really close to the current version, Which is slightly more soapy on the drydown. Was tempted to get a 2000 batch but i don't know if it's worth it
I thought I was completely off thinking that the Fahrenheit my Dad introduced me to in the early 90s was different than what I have today. I purchased a bottle from 1993, and am hoping its as I remembered.
Thanks for the final analysis Bobby Dior. I don't always wear ⛽ but when I do, I prefer Amouage Portrayal Man, basically Niche version of Dior Fahrenheit 😎
I have a new old stock 100ml bottle from either 2011 or 2001 (that I myself unboxed) and have given it a few wearings. Final verdict: I find it to be well-blended with excellent performance, but the scent is TOO much like a mechanic’s shed for me; dominated by the oil/gasoline note. Would consider trading it for something equally as special… located in Europe so could ship easily within the EU, I think overseas shipping would be prohibitively expensive unfortunately…. batchcode 1S01
Bobby-O! We'll agree to disagree about the current Dior Homme line. ;) As for Fahrenheit... you and me both! I miss my '96 bottle. My 2006 bottle is scratching that itch----albeit imperfectly. I do have a small 90s bottle kicking around, but the juice seems to have turned. The current iteration, to me, is just a very lovely and wearable, dark yet fresh violet leaf concoction. I treat is as a modern flanker of the original. Fine by me, it is what it is. Cheers!
😊 You are well read on this topic for sure Szabo. Damn glad you watch the vid. Thanks much! As you can guess, I am thrilled to sniff the og past...All these juices flying by as I just wore my CHANEL For Men etc.... 🥂
Thanks for this info and fantastic review, i do own vintage Fahrenheit 1st reform and 2nd reform, where can i find Anujh Enchante's shop? Does he have Instagram Page or Facebook page?
What a classic! I wonder if there are designer fragrances today we should be stockpiling and putting away for 30 years to flip for a massive profit in 2052. Doubt it! Cliche but they don't make them like they used to.
I'm sure there is. DH has already changed, DHI and DHP may also or just be gone. The Privees and the CHANEL Exclusifs..No guarantees .. Cheers, Ghost ;)
Ok, Monkey....Don't bid on it if it were an OG Vintage, like '98, 99, 2000...I and others found that there is a difference, remember. Definite formula change.. Enchante.com still has 10 ml minis of the OG I believe...Good luck
@@BobbyDior Thanks, its 25ml roughly left out of a 50 ml bottle, missing cap so it has a wonky temporary one instead. A few days left of the auction and im leading right now with 10$ so we'll see how pricy it gets...
Actually my apologies, I found out my bottle is suppose to have a sticker on the bottom but must of fell off.. it smells real, and lasts on my skin. The bottle definately looks real, smells leathery, petroleum type of scent. 👌

what a treat.
What if it doesnt have a batch code, is it fake?
It must have a code, on box and bottle. I do not know if fakes leave the # out. research, fake Fahrenheits
