Bet you were pleased to get that first mile over with but the boggy ground must have been a pain. Must admit I am fascinated by the Romans and love going to the wall and Housesteads, which always blows my mind. 14 miles up and down takes some going but the scenery and the nice weather must have been a double bonus, cheers Alan
