There are a lot of us who have H2's. I would like to see more for the H2. I personally don't want an Humvee or H1. I love my H2 and would love to see more videos of H2's.

I would have towed my ford expedition back with the H2 if it had your work done to it , i over spent on the shipping of it from san diego to2300 miles and back and paid fuel driving the ford expedition there and back so its time to prepare for the H2 Transformation on its future adventures . I'm not a mechanic, but how long and difficult was it to do this diesel conversion?
I just bought a 2004 H2 with a 5.3 liter gas engine.

Thanks! Depends on the build. Remanufactured engines most everything is new. Resealed engines, main components are reused with new head work, seals, waterpump etc. Thanks for watching!

Is this a conversion to a diesel from fuel?

@@PredatorInc so the h2 came with a diesel engine or not? The reason for my questions is I own a 07 with 6.0 and have wondered if that was even possible? If the price is right I might be interested in having it done.
@truckers4 trump yes that what I thought. I have done extensive research on the h2s before purchasing mine 6 yrs back. But 30k is way too high, I'd rather buy another pickup with diesel engine in it already for that much. Thank you for the information though I really appreciate it. I follow this channel to in hopes of seeing h2s being upgraded. As you know parts for our h2 are hard to come by, and finding a shop that is equipped to work on them is even harder. Lol.
truckers4 trump the price to for a swap is wayyyy ridiculous considering you can pickup a nice 09 h2 for $30k. You can build the ls in the h2 up to be pretty bad ass though for a reasonable price. I’ve seen people make over 1000hp with the l92 in the 08/09 and even the lq4 in the older ones. Slap a couple turbos, crank, cam, rods, and pistons and it would be one hell of a motor. It would be a couple grand but probably not as bad as a duramax swap.
If I was going to get it swapped, I would definitely have predator do it though. They have done some pretty amazing work compared to other companies.
@@hungryhungryhummer I agree with you all the way. My 6.0 is powerful enough for my style of driving as is, and it has been taken great care of through out, so I have no complaints on my end. I always wanted a diesel but never bought one in the old days , but now with the new ones the reliability and noise are really impressive, so every now and then I ponder the idea of owning one. And I agree the predator corp is the only way togo for a swap, and again I guess you want the job be done right you have t pay for it. lol.

My question is... HOW do people pay for this. Let alone justify it. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Diesel engines as much as any other intelligent man. But starting at 30 GRAND is asinine. I absolutely love my H2 and I've always said the only thing wrong with it is the bullshit 6.0 and equally as underspeced 4L60E. So a Duramax/Allison would be ideal. But not for 50+ THOUSAND dollars. Because I'm not the "stock" kinda guy...

Most all of our customers are very hardworking people and enjoy the results of their hard work. Many cases we have had customers resell their duramax predator trucks for what they have invested or more. Most of these trucks are appreciating and are collectors cars versus a normal diesel truck which is rapidly depreciating.
@@PredatorInc Look... I know you're running a business. And you have to promote your product. But I've been a diesel mechanic for 15 years. And in that time I haven't learned everything by any means but I know enough to know that it doesn't matter what YOU (the builder or the owner) thinks something is worth. It only matters what THEY (the buyer) think it's worth. I do NOT doubt that you sell these trucks. There's no question that you do. Because I watch your videos and I see the quality in the products you put out into the world.
That said... At the end of the day. It's a USED GM SUV. I know because I have an 06 H2. DAMN good trucks for sure and I love it but they're not without their faults... At 242,000 miles it has gone to HUMMER heaven due to a thrown rod. Now I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to do a diesel swap on it. Because I have a love affair with diesel engines. But it's just plain not worth the cost. But then...Mine is not a show truck either. It gets worked harder than the H2 was ever meant to. I pull skid steers in excess of 12,000lbs with it as well as push a 10 foot Blizzard Plow with it in the winter. So it'll likely get a junkyard 6.0 and continue life as a backup truck for me.
As I said before. Keep up the great work! Maybe someday I'll have enough money to be frivolous enough to buy one.
People have money and they don’t care to spend it lol. I don’t have that kind of money. But wish I did. Bad ass trucks ( not the H2s though lol ) as soon as I retire from the fire service and hit the lottery I’m calling these guys. For an H1
