I still believe that the best scene in the series is where Hiro goes to see Callaghan about a supervillain and when is leaving Callaghan apologizes for he did. Hiro simple says “Tadashi would have wanted me to forgive you. Someday I hope I can”
I love that scene too, especially with the fact that Hiro refused to not forgive Callaghan. It gives a realistic touch because in most animated shows, everytime a villain apologizes for the messed up things they did, they get forgiven so easily and man, how it freaking annoys me. So it makes me glad that Hiro is still not ready to forgive. And what upsets me about Callaghan’s apology is that he said that he never meant to hurt anyone. OH REALLY??????? He attended to kill a guy who he blamed for his daughter’s disappearance, he almost killed innocent people with a portal, he attended to kill Hiro and his friends not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES! And most of all, he caused a fire to steal hiro’s microbots which then later caused tadashi’s death and he blamed tadashi for his own death! And YET he says he never meant to hurt anyone??? Hiro has every right to not forgive Callaghan and I’m glad he didn’t, because what he has done was unforgivable. Yes I know he was hurting because of his daughter, but that didn’t give him right to attempt to kill innocent people.
What’s weird is in the film all the characters names were nicknames by Fred, yet the series treats it like it’s their legal names.
Yeah I agree with that, I have no idea why none of the writers reveled them until now.

Nickelodeon 2012 TMNT is one of the best "kids shows" of all time, and it has all the great writing elements that this show doesn't have
I think Rise of the TMNT is overhated.

I am autistic and I have the biggest hyper fixation on big hero 6. I even have my own cd that I’ve owned ever since I was a kid. I just wanted to say that you and I have the same opinions on bh6ts; it’s torture. one person I’ve had a problem with in particular is karmi, so I would like to share some of the things that make the series torture and just unwatchable for me because of karmi.
trigger warning for mentions of emotional, physical and sexual abuse!!
first of all, the fan friction episode was very unfair and just straight up weird in hiro’s case. the fact that grown adults that attend hiro’s college were calling karmi “lucky” or saying that the fanfic was “cute” is just so weird to me. I know that the citizens don’t know that he’s really just a 14 year old teen, but it’s still pretty weird to see the show treat hiro like that. to make it worse, his friends DEFENDED it, even though it clearly made him uncomfortable. hiro’s friends didn’t even tell her that it was wrong. they, instead, force and pressure hiro into using her ideas from her fanfic. it’s very weird and just wrong imo.
second of all, one of the chibi shorts is… really interesting, to say the least. you guessed it, it’s the love letters one.
the love letter chibi short starts off with hiro catching globby (forgive me if that’s not his name. also technically it starts out with karmi making a letter but ehh), and then karmi runs up to her with a love letter. hiro gets visibly uncomfortable and a little afraid if you really look at it, and then runs away. karmi then begins to chase him all around san fransokyo trying to give him the letter, and hiro can be seen getting more and more scared during the episode. karmi even climbs on top of hiro in order for him to accept her love letter. at the end of the short, karmi corners hiro in an alleyway, and a big love explosion is depicted. hiro is seen dizzy, and karmi holds his hand.
first of all, I am aware that the shorts are exaggerated. however, I draw the line when it comes to this short. the writers for this short could’ve made karmi do literally ANYTHING else, for instance they could’ve made karmi accept hiro’s rejection towards her love letter, they could’ve made hiro accept the love letter (which I wouldn’t really be a big fan of but it’s still way better than what the writers did with the episode), hell they could’ve just scrapped the short in general, but no. they had to depict karmi as a creep.
and third of all, this may be a little wrong because I haven’t fully watched the series (because it’s torture), but in my opinion, I believe that karmi has emotionally abused hiro as an emotional abuse victim myself. I’ve wrote an essay on how hiro is an emotional abuse victim.
let me just clear up one thing before anyone decides to attack me. I am not saying that karmi has sexually assaulted or abused hiro (if that’s what anyone’s thinking when they hear the term victim), but I am saying that karmi has emotionally abused hiro with her stalker tendencies. karmi is known throughout the show to absolutely hate hiro’s guts, yet at the same time, she crushes over hiro’s superhero alter ego, also known as captain cutie. karmi constantly shames and makes fun of hiro every moment she gets, but when she sees his superhero form, she instantly gets all lovey-dovey and starts to do stuff that makes him uncomfortable, such as chasing him with love letters. nobody does anything about it. instead, they all cherish and love karmi and then proceed to not give two shits about hiro. take fan friction as an example. in fan friction, karmi writes self insert fanfiction about captain cutie, and when hiro finds out about it, he’s rightfully uncomfortable. he tries to tell his friends that he’s uncomfortable with it, but instead, they excuse it off as “just having fun”. hell even the students at hiro’s college call karmi “lucky” because they think that they’re actually dating, which only makes him even more uncomfortable. in the end, hiro gets pressured into satisfying karmi’s ego by changing their superhero names into the ones she picked out for her fanfic, even though he literally didn’t want to. need another example? prey date. in prey date, karmi gets mad at hiro for being in the labs, and she’s also seen embarrassed being around him. yet as soon as captain cutie shows up, she gets all lovey-dovey again and cuddles up with him, which hiro is shown to be uncomfortable with karmi doing this. also, karmi literally tries HITTING hiro when he instructs her to stay in the lab, which I shouldn’t have to explain why that is wrong. if you STILL need an example after this, then take issue 188 as an example too. in issue 188, hiro gets introduced to karmi, and karmi is automatically a bitch towards hiro because she took her spot as the youngest student to transfer to hiro’s college. yet, she doesn’t want granville to know because otherwise, she’d get in trouble. hiro tries to tell gogo about it, but she shrugs it off as hiro’s fault because he “took her thing”. later on in the episode, karmi is seen crushing on a picture of captain cutie. hiro says hi to karmi, and karmi instantly starts making fun of him in a way that makes him uncomfortable, saying that he has a crush on her when he really doesn’t. he then brings up the fact that karmi is crushing on a picture of captain cutie, aka him, and she starts acting creepy with him, saying stuff that makes him even more uncomfortable, and he ends up walking away. it doesn’t help that at the end of the episode, she gets away with makimg hiro’s life a living hell by comtinuing to say that he has a crush on her and by crushing on captain cutie. this just shows how much of a creep and a bitch karmi acts towards hiro, and it also shows that hiro’s “friends” really don’t care about hiro. that’s what makes hiro a victim in my opinion.
and before anyone says that I’m “reaching”, I’m comparing hiro’s experiences with karmi to some of my experiences. I have also wrote an essay about this.
I am a victim of emotional (and in some cases physical or sexual) abuse myself. I have been emotionally abused for years on end with my dad (who I have cut contact with), my classmates, old friends, and my stepdad. But, for now, because I don’t wanna write too much, I’m going to be focusing on just my classmates. Starting off with my classmates, I was terrified of my classmates. They would do awful things to me, for instance they would kick the door down when I was in the bathroom, they would follow me around and hug me when I didn’t want them to, they would spread rumors about me saying that I felt horny for a guy I didn’t like, they would constantly try to ask me for my number when I didn’t want them to have my number, they would pressure me into dating someone I didn’t like, they even at one point sexually assaulted me in the bathroom. When I didn’t answer them in the way they wanted to be answered with, they would always guilt and manipulate me into giving them that answer. To make it worse, I was extremely vulnerable and gullible because I was 14, the oldest kid in seventh grade. They would never get punished. Instead, I was the culprit every time because I tried to defend myself. It got so bad that I would resort to self harming myself in a locked stall by scratching my arms over and over again while trying to make sure nobody kicked down the door. Yet still, I didn’t look at my lowest point. Even though I went through emotional and sexual abuse, I never looked to be at my lowest. I also had an experience where I was emotionally abused by someone who was 5-6 years older than me. They were 19, turning 20. I had just turned 14 a few months ago. They told me that they had got someone to stalk me, and that if I didn’t delete something, which I cannot say due to privacy matters, them and their friends would stalk me even more. I got so horrified and scared, because the person had already got someone to spy on me. The amount of people criticizing me because I didn’t like that person was so unbearable. It got to the point where people started asking me for my nudes. I don’t know why. I just wanted it to end. I didn’t want any of that to happen. But even when I got cyber stalked by a 19-20 year old when I was 14, I didn’t look at my lowest. I never looked at my lowest.
You don’t have to “look at your lowest” to be a victim of abuse. If someone abuses you, it’s abuse, no matter what you look or act like.
I would like to say that I am a big fan of your big hero 6 rants, and I agree with mostly everything you say. don’t let anyone try and prove you wrong like they did to me, raisorblade. take care of yourself! ^_^

I hate when cartoons just put in stupid, overplayed troupes for the sake of cheap laughs with no depth. As if to say that, kids aren't intelligent so their main source of entertainment shouldn't be either...smh

Same, but it’s shame how it ended up. I felt like the people working behind it gave up and just didn’t know what to do and so they just gave the last season a few episodes and made them into shorts.

Here’s my honest take on Big Hero 6 The Series
Seasons 1 and 2 were good, I thought Obake and Liv were interesting enough villains and foils for the team (Globby and Momakase were also cool) and the times when they focused on Hiro’s struggles with his brother being gone, his relationship with Baymax and dealing with his life in college were relatable to a degree
Season 3 however had a lot of forgettable filler episodes, a somewhat lame recurring threat in Noodle Burger Boy and the fast food mascots and I am not sure how many other people were as annoyed by this, but Fred’s character just became more idiotic and obnoxious
He was like that in the previous seasons, but in season 3, he had sooo many moments of making things worse and coming off as straight up mentally challenged
Seasons one and two good, season three bad.
I was annoyed how after the City of Monsters arc was wrapped, the series seemed to be building up to potential villains to headline Season 3 like Hardlight (a villain that's like a mix between Mysterio and Deadpool) and Cirque (since she did the whole "we'll meet again" schtick, the miniaturized portal tech was still being perfected, and the hint that Hiro might one day collect Baymax's original body). But no, Cirque never returned and Hardlight was unceremoniously defeated in ten minutes.
Only half the season 2 is good (the Liv arc), the other half of season 2 doesn't really follow any general plot. Trina arc could've been great here but they did that for only 2 episodes.

By the end, Fred became annoyingly pointless. Hell, he actually CAUSES half of the crap they deal with in the final season.
On a positive note, I did love how they kept upgrading to bigger, better weapons and suits. Not just relying on the same tech.

9:20 I think this is because Disney does not consider Big Hero 6 to be a Marvel property anymore. Of course, Big Hero 6 did start out in Marvel comics but every since the movie came out, I think Disney considers it to be it's own entity separated from Marvel.

The first season had alot of potential. But we never get any kind of backstory on the characters besides Hiro. Just surface level stuff for three whole seasons.
9:40 Biggest missed opportunity they should have had an Avengers team up crossover or had a team up with Spider-Man that would made Big Hero 6 the Series somewhat better since there both Marvel proprites within a Disney Cartoon they could have at had an Avengers crossover with Big Hero 6 and it would have made the show better to watch
Have you ever seen the "Tangled: The Series"? Unlike "Big Hero 6: The Series", it looks better, has much more competent characters, and actually has arcs and stories that make sense!

Could you perhaps make a review on Transformers Prime? It's an animated series that might still be on Netflix. It's absolutely incredible, plus since animation is your thing, I thought maybe you could give the show a try if you can. And I just want something new to watch on this channel that doesn't involve Disney or any of the other stuff that was already talked about on this channel. I'm just feeling kind of bored and want something different, you know.
Only the first season is on Netflix, but the last 2 are on Tubi and the whole show is on RUclips.

honestly I'd liked Big Hero 6 the series
from Seasons 1 and 2
but season 3 had one too many filler episodes and a generic villain with Noodle Burger Boy and a lackluster ending

That show had in my opinion the best theme song from the music perspective, villains are interesting in design and with Obake, two first seasons were good for having a plot, but season three in my opinion was the worst wich it killed the show. And Baymax is just being the best in the series. 3/10
For those of you who are new to the channel raisor reviewed the shows 3 seasons back when they came out and he hated the show even more than dragons the nine realms and the reviews of each season are very entertaining and had a lot of good points and let's hope that he reviews that sorcerer's apprentice movie
Honestly I watching the show just once, maybe like just the see if it was ever good And frankly it's not good, it is never good. I don't know why like honestly. It's not even good honestly. It makes me forget about the movie. Yeah, believe it or not, yeah, I don't think It's really bad. I mean, honestly, it could have had such potential, but it doesn't. I mean, no offense.
