Maddie was groomed to behave and act in the way she did, or there would be consequences. She was barely even 8 when this show started. I feel for her so much. She didn’t volunteer herself because she knew it was wrong. An Adult threw her into that situation, as a child she wouldn’t have known how to react as should have never been put in a situation, kids are taught to listen to the adults around them. Then the week after at pyramid Abby put Maddie at the bottom because she didn’t say yes straight away, and gave her trio spot to Nia. Abby made her feel she had to act in this way in order to reach stardom and get opportunities, she was groomed and manipulated the same way many child stars are. She was abused too.
That first scene is HORRIBLE. that was awful of Abby to put Maddie in that position to say yes to the solo and force her to do it! Maddie looked so uncomfortable and didn’t want do that to Paige 😳
I agrew with Abby when she said that Payton was being rude when she said I am Payton don’t call me the other girls name. Abby has lots of kids in her studio. I have a brother and my mom calls me my brother‘s name a lot. Sometimes she calls me my dogs name and she does the same thing to my brother calls him by my name so I like get where Abby‘s coming from.
