I loved this WHOLE list. I love that they are practical and that some are even free! I want to use up the odd singles I have here and there, but I want to be excited by what I’m make too! Thanks so much! 😊
Hello dear Alanna! What a cool video! So many patterns that are inspiring - some I've already made and the gnome is so cute! I'll be definitely making more gnomes next year! Thanks so much for the shoutout! I was wondering why I have so many new subscribers - now I know :) You are very kind and that top you made looks fantastic! Looking forward to next video and to Thursday when I'll see you! Good night, Marina
I've knit 10 as well but have quite a few to go as I want to make garlands (clearly for NEXT year 😄) I will be making small pom poms to go between the socks. The socks really are fun (and fast) to make.
Thanks for all the beautiful suggestions, some of which I will certainly knit, if not this Christmas then next year. I wish you a very happy Christmas, safe travels and happy knitting
Great idea for an episode and thanks for putting so much work in to researching all these patterns so we don’t have to! Look forward to seeing which ones you end up making and “frog or finish” can definitely wait until the new year! Have a great trip to see your family. (Btw your niece is adorable in that gnome hat!)
Alanna, I made the Leaves mitts twice, and they turned out so lovely. I did one in 8 ply, and one in 12 ply. Have a great holiday! And thanks so much for the list of items. This was a great podcast :)
I'm using the tiny sock pattern as a template to make mine. I'll be making garlands interspersing the socks with pom poms. The socks are super fast to make and a really great way to use up a lot of sock/fingering weight yarn.
I knit the Hottie water bottle cover this year and it was a really good pattern. It's also very reasonably priced. I plan to knit one more for a gift but I really would love to try it in a boucle yarn, too, at some point.
That's awesome! Since this video I've made a hot water bottle cover now (ended up using no pattern) and it was such a fun quick knit! Definitely want to make more
Any idea on how to get the bandanna scarf in English? I signed up for their newsletter and was gifted the vibe shawl. 😢Any assistance would be appreciated! I am willing to purchase it in English!
Hi! Ok so I've looked into it and it's actually a bit confusing. It says you should get the free pattern when you subscribe to her newsletter, but you actually get the "Vibes Scarf" pattern which is a similar shape except with eyelets. I realized that the Vibes Scarf is actually the one that Wiebke made for our shop, which is why I thought it was available! 😅 Sadly I can't seem to find a current way to access this pattern... By looking at the picture I think you could use the shaping and stitches from the Vibes Scarf, but instead the texture repeat looks like: 4 rows of garter stitch 4 rows of k1, p1 rib stitch. Sorry for the confusion, but I hope that helps!
Haven't met a podcast of yours that I didn't love. Thanks for all the effort invested in putting this together for us!
I had to laugh when you said that your video is too long because I said to myself "No! Keep showing more." Hahahahaha Love all your finished objects.
