The first time Superman arrived in Metropolis.
I hope you like the video or at least find it interesting ❤
Great flikey superman comics video 😇
@Flikey background song ? Please 🙏
It’s great
I can’t imagine the amount of fear that goes through these abusive fathers minds when Superman of all people comes to stop them lmao.
*A thief breaks into the bank at night*
*All versions of Supermans shows up along with wonder woman, the entire lantern army and Aqua man*
The thief : FUCK.
At least it's not Batman, he would turn them into mash potatoes
Yet the common criminal almost surprisingly ends up more scared of batman
@@gab5012 because they know that Superman will just throw them through a wall while Batman will give them irreversible brain damage
@@ibrahimsamara8644 superman preforms at half measures
batman breaks them physically and spiritually
Stories like this give such a great perspective for Superman comics, it’s more than the “Superman stops the bad guy and saves the day!”
I blame zack Snyder for people hating Superman, he’s not a Jesus allegory, he’s a farm boy who loves his family, his country, and his home
@@theverminator4219 Which is why stories such as the Superman Grounded storyline exist. Hell, the reason why he does not use power in a way Lex would approve of is ultimately reminding people that he was just a farm boy. Had it not been for the powers, he wouldn't be much different.
@@theverminator4219 you don't understand Man of Steel and BvS [Ultimate Edition] at all then.
You aren't hating on those films one of which clearly said "Maybe he's not some sort of devil or Jesus character, maybe he's just a guy trying to do the right thing" in a scene about Superman.
So, jokes on you.
He is the Procter of the world
@@TheManOfTomorrow Man of Steel was ok, BvS was horrible
How many abusive fathers are there in Metropolis jeez
as many as the writers can fit in without ruining metropolis
Probably just as many as any other city
And I thought Gotham city was that bad.
@@petervonberry8349 just like irl
@@chmleon saddest truth
That cape is obviously made of the same matter that the old Nokia made off, Bedrock.
It's canon that it is super durable, it's bullet proof.
That's some stories it was just his blanket
its funny cause irl bedrock is brittle asf
@@grimace2871 But can you make your “Bedrock”?
@Orlando Britt True, which means that is kryptonean cloth.
Superman is such a character with so much depth, but it the movies paint him as just this guy with a whole bunch of power, they don’t go into his personality, and that is a shame
Emotion is DC’s job
@@Brock_Lee501 but they failed
Exactly. People complain about him being boring in the movies but the issue is the movies have barely scratched the surface of superman's character. Modern movies prioritise superman smashing stuff over being who he was designed to be. Hope
@@sampritchard54 and that is why Zack is an evil man

I know you probably heard this before, but I bet that kid would say it for the rest of his life like it never gets old.
bro i looked at the thumbnail after reading the title and i thought that superman was punching the shit out of the kid who stole the cape 💀
Bro me too
I deadass thought I was the only one. Thanks to this comment I almost wanted to type this up but just proceeded to watch the video. Though, I also thought that Superman punched the kid who I thought was the kid that was grown up, which is the kid's farther.
Same
I was sitting there thinking "Holy crap why would super man do something so extreme over a cape!?"
Can I just take a moment and say how much I love this Superman costume. Admittedly I try to cosplay this outfit whenever I can for comic cons.
Now we need a battle between supermams cape and the cloak of levitation
Yes, just need to find a way to give it sentience lol 10/10 would watch that fight
@@barreldabro8135 i was typing that on my tablet and im not use to typing on my tablet so it came out rusty

It’s stories like this that really show what superman means
Too bad superman is a deranged lunatic that is only one step away from being homelander or omni man
That's how you embodied Hope. Illuminate people in their darkest moment with your light. Not smash super alien through buildings and destroy half the city.
Well, when you’re fighting someone as powerful, or even more powerful, than you, sometimes there is going to be collateral damage. Would you rather have the aliens tear up the entire city and then the world?
@@Brock_Lee501 tackling through buildings and throwing exploding trucks is a bit more than collateral
@@sampritchard54 still, better than the alternative
just because something is bad doesn't mean we should allow something worse to happen
@@soraXsenju99 if by alternative you mean not throwing exploding trucks at buildings then I agree
look man, if you would rather an entire city get destroyed rather than a small part of it, alright ig
They need to put him on steve wilkos show
Thats superman for ya always there when needed.
You know you’re an abusive father when an alien who can pull solar systems on his back flies in and stops you
Pov you stole homelander's cape:⚰
Damn Dat boy power is over 9,000
superman logic:
stoping a train is less work than getting a boy unstuck from the rails
I think maybe with how close the train was, getting him unstuck without ripping off his leg would take too long, so that could be why he decided to stop the train instead
Moving someone from 0 to march 5 instantly has a hundred percent chance to kill them. Superman can move this fast, because of his incredible durability. A normal human can't withstand it.
@@presence5692 bro got knocked out by a rocket launcher his durability isn't that strong here
Now that's a scene for a perfect Superman movie
I freaking love Superman
I love Superman because the story of Superman is a true one: you never know when a mild-mannered exterior - male or female, child or adult or elder - will turn out to have been concealing, all along, a man of steel.
Probably easier to pick up the boy then potentially causing a fatal train accident but ig superman needs to do cool things.
Yeah and it be easy if Ant Man fucking punted Thanos into space but oh well.
It's more of a reaction thing, Superman isn't Batman. he's not going to do to the most logical thing. But instead the fastest reaction in the moment.
His thought process is probably.

Guess he must've fallen bad times after being let go as detective.

I don't know about that, but Superman on the right at 1:22 looks like Homelander (Anthony Starr version from The Boys).
Okay how did Superman get knocked out my a f#%king rocket launcher? He can destroy a galaxy with a sneeze for gods sake.
This is when he was first starting out. He gets a lot stronger as he becomes more experienced.
He’s tough, but he still has the same mass, he needs to be in control to withstand forces like that
plot induced
This is peak superman, I hope we see this in the upcoming movie.
Absolutely beautiful.
He tugged on Superman's cape and spat into the wind.
Got me over crying in a minute and a half
Also the passanger of the Train : 💀
"I borrowed it"
No you didn't
If it wasn’t the blanket I had when I came to earth I would have let him keep the cape
Instead of stoping the train, he should have saved and move the boy to safety instead...
When a train suddenly stops, you know what will happen to the pasengers, right?
It's more of a reaction thing, Superman isn't Batman. he's not going to do to the most logical thing. But instead the fastest reaction in the moment.

Try to take the kid, legs rip off. Try to unstick the kid, both of them get rammed because Superman is still capable of getting toppled by a train. Rip off the piece of track, train gets derailed.
Three's abusive mothers too
Awesome vid
Superman pulls a Handcock and nobody bats an eye lol coulda just got the boy off the tracks

What a nice story😇 but if someone were to steal *MY* f****n cape then there will be bloodshed.
My question is, how the fuq did the people send 200 shirts not realize it was superman later on in life ??
Because he was disguised as Clark Kent at that time.

Well. Better character than him, that's for sure

What Superman did there was risky if he decided to stop the train completely then the compartments behind the train will get flipped and has high chance it will hurt the brother and if the train carries passenger then they can die

Always the fathers who are the bad guys in these. Truth is, a single woman is more likely to be physically abusive to her children than a single man. I’m so sick of men getting sh*t on in all popular entertainment.
