Honestly a lot of the sketches from this episode were good. I keep coming back to the squid game and celebrity game show one. (The one where Rami and Pete switch places)
I love when the guests aren't shy about getting into the characters and the skits (even though it's completely understandable when they are), it adds so much when they have his chemistry with the cast. Everything about this sketch was just hilarious though lol
I used to work in a furniture store, we had a customer and her husband trying out mattresses. The woman was laying on the mattresses while her husband scowled and huffed, our salesman kept trying to get him to try out the mattress with his wife. Eventually the salesman says "do you mind if I get in the bed with her so you can see how it doesn't transfer movement?" The husband says "why not everyone else has" to which the wife left off the bed and slapped the shit out of him🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Aidy has some of the best subtle timing in SNL history. She plays off the “detention” line just enough to draw the audience in, appearing that she might break on purpose and then nailing it. That seems to be one of her staple moves and it’s brilliant.
She really is very talented and quite versatile, and so is Bowen. They are two of my favorite cast members. Aidy as Ted Cruz is the bomb, though.... I cannot help but laugh.

Bc it's very hit or miss if I were to guess. Sometimes you great sketches/episodes like these and other times you get complete duds. Can be kinda boring to sift through the lower quality stuff sometimes.
I like it when he gets the chance to play a broader range of characters than just the camp ones. Seeing him as the 'straight man' in this one was fantastic!
I normally love Bowen's sketches when he gets to go all out (see this episode's Bug Assembly). But he's a wonderful straight man here. The perfect blend of disbelief and resignation.

Everything about this sketch is hilarious. Without a doubt one of SNL's FUNNIEST sketches ever. Starting with Rami's under-rated joke "Is it too soft? I feel like Goldilocks." and then everything after that.
Sadly, I think it's one of those times where the sequel is the true classic. I hear they're spinning off a new series where it's the same concept but it's night school.

Aidy is at her best playing normal people who end up being nuts. She and Rami work so well together here. Good support from Bowen too.
