I did not achieve the press by training it specifically. I would say that I gained the strength for it accidentally while progressing my handstands.
This maybe be why I can only straight arm press while bent arm presses are still inconsistent.
Also incase you are curious, around halfway through the video, my max hold increased to 28s, and by 2 October I reached almost 40s handstand hold.

I thought straight arm presses are harder lmao but i can see why you progressed on them more easily than bent arm presses

THAT'S THE SAME CASE FOR ME TOO. THAT'S WAS BECOUSE OF THE WAY I DOES THE HANDSTAND, I DIDN'T HAVE INNOUGH SHOULDER FLEXIBILITY TO OPEN THE SHOULDERS. THAT COUSED ME TO PLANCHE WHILE DOING THE HANDSTAND. IT LOOKS LIKE THAT'S YOUR CASE TOO. WHEN WE PLANCHE DURING THE HANDSTAND FOR A LONG TIME , IT BUILDS STRAIGHT ARM PRESS STRENGTH AND WRIST FLEXIBILITY.

Nice progress! Did you train for compression and/or mobility/flexibility specifically? Your V-sit is sick!

Thanks! I did train specifically for mobility just for the V-sit. In terms of flexibility I have just enough for the V-sit but wasn't the main focus.
