You'll see some disparity between the color in the video vs. the swatch photo. Always trust the photo! I adjusted the video to the best of my ability (it's usually Kyle's job) and some of the brighter colors still weren't matching up. Also keep in mind that everyone's phone and computer screens show color differently. It's always best to look up swatches from a few different swatchers if you're unsure about a color :)

You cracked me up with your immediate Pacific Blue comparison. That's actually the shade that I knew I was going to get when I saw the photos on OPI's IG posts. It's definitely not a dupe, but I apparently can't turn down a blue polish. 🤷♀️ Also, I know you always feel behind when you post stuff like this, but I really appreciate you including the Ulta exclusives. I feel like I hardly ever see anyone else swatching those, so I appreciate the extra effort. ☺️

I tip I learned for polishes with thin formula’s like Suzi Chases Portu-Geese is to turn your hand upside down so the polished nails are facing towards the ground. This uses gravity to keep it from pooling around the nails cuticles and sides. It works really well for me.

There may be more since I have a large collection of polishes. I’ve been disappointed with OPI lately. They seems to recycle the same colors and change them just enough to get away with giving it a new name. I’m ready for something new and fresh.

I only want these for the names and collection because I am going there for special vacation. If it weren't for that I would not even bother. I'm glad I found 3 of them at Marshalls for $3.99.
Great video! My theory is that the Ulta Exclusives were the runners up from the collection that didn't quite make the cut into the actual collection. Thus the formula issues and repetitive colors. Although that last polish looks like it was left over from fall or winter!

(A pink, a lighter maybe blue/green, and a reddish color) But I'm a simple girl. And definitely not one to go to three places to get a collection. Kind of like what Sinful Colors have been doing with theirs.

How do you make the top line of the polish (top of the nail near the cuticle) look so clean and straight? When you're applying the polish I can see it's not as perfect as on the photos of the swatches, so is there an extra step you do in between?
Maybe a dumb question, but why do you paint your nails a second time to take the pictures? In other words, why don’t you take the pictures immediately after painting them for the swatching video?
They're an official OPI distributor. My first order from them (back when they were btysales.com, before they had to make a separate site for non-professionals in order to keep their contract with OPI...idk, it's confusing) was the Hello Kitty collection. I had 2 mixups with my order but they were corrected. After that they've been sending me the newest collections to review because they send them out super early, which is great for a reviewer, and PR samples directly from OPI are impossible to rely on. OPI sends them out incredibly late or not at all and the PR contact changes every few months so you never know who to chase down about it. aaaaanyway..lol... You can order from anywhere you're comfortable with. This collection is available all over in the U.S. at this point. My general rule is if the website takes PayPal, I'll risk the purchase since PayPal is so good about covering the buyer if anything goes south :)
Katie Brunson I've ordered from them 4 or 5 times after hearing about them from Jess. They're always great and very responsive to emails. One time they were out of an OPI polish I ordered. Instead of emailing me to see what I wanted to do or just leaving it off the order like most companies, they just upgraded it to the same shade in the infinite shine line, didn't charge me the extra money for the infinite shine, and hand wrote a note on my invoice. It was $1 difference that I would have gladly paid if they emailed me because it was the best solution, but it was so nice that they just took control of the issue instead of holding up my order. Another time, I ordered a single bottle of one of the colored OPI nail envy polishes. They didn't have the single bottle in stock, so they sent a duo with the polish I ordered and another bottle of nail envy at the same price as the single. They probably could have easily just broke up the duo and sold both polishes individually, but they gave me the deal instead. I will continue to order from them! The only downside I see is having to spend so much to get free shipping, but I get around that by letting my wish list grow before placing the order.

How close would you say "Can I Bairro This Shade" is to "Gelato On My Mind" from the Italy collection from a while back? I have that one and love it, but I remember that it's a bit chalky. This one doesn't seem like a great improvement on formula so if the color is really close to Gelato On My Mind, I may pass on it (I LOVE blues, teals, etc. so I was tempted by this one but then I realized it might be a dupe).

Yes! I dip a small concealer brush in acetone and clean up the line :)
