Big fan, just started playing kill team in league at my FLG. Playing Kasrkin and your guide help immensely! A video that could be good is something like explaining all the lingo around and advanced rule in KT, for example how one way shooting works, Blocking doors with models
One of the best intro to the game not looking at the best meta which is a whirlwind I’ve settled on the starter box. Two armies and ones kommandoes which with a new season one the way they can do shooting and melee well enough to play
Great video! I am still playing my first team (Intercessors) and am now looking to start playing my second. This is helpful as I look between Vet Guards, Farstalker Kinband and Navy Breachers.
Store near me has people interested in kill team. So like you're saying I'm doing Death Guard as a demo team vs Scion! I figured it's be a good way to gauge elite and semi hord teams.
Just started kill team and I picked inquisition...😅 as you said, not a great starter kill team but your videos have helped immensely so I'm gonna hope it works! Gonna pair them up with vet guard because of your video on them, gonna use that doomstack and hope it works, fingers crossed!
I wanted to play the Veteran Guards because I like the look of them, and I felt like they would be fun, I even built them with custom heads... but I feel like I have gotten in over my head because they seem to be a fairly complicated group to play. I find I am still struggling with basic rules.
They're a great and very fun team, they were my first team too and definitely one of the more difficult to learn. I recommend being okay with not knowing all of their special abilities out the gate! It's okay to make suboptimal choices while learning, like taking the artillery option or using less of the complicated operatives like the demolitionist.
Is there a point where you would give up on a team? I’ve struggled with breachers. I’m 10 games in without a win. I have lots of other teams.. inquisition, felgore, chaos, gellerpox, kroot and hand of the archon… but not really had a chance to try anything out. Is it worth picking up a box of something like kommandos just to learn better?
I just got tau pathfinder its my first kill team hope its fun I'm very new to warhammer I bought a set years ago and they either fell apart because I didn't build it correctly or I loss them however I'm more serious about it now that I know kill team is a thing
Gimme a durable shooty Kill Team that has a way of dealing with conceal shooting operatives 😂 or just a 5 man Terminator Kill Team, that would be nice to 🤣
What a coincidence, I do own spare models for death guard and intercession squad. Maybe just need one more random Plague marine since I only own 5. Any other good teams for RAW beginners? Trying to build 2 teams so I can learn with my friend!
There are some other teams that don't toootally fit the bill but honestly, as long as you have the excitement, any team is worth giving a shot. Definitely have a look at those less forgiving teams I mentioned before, would be fun to try if you're picking two!

@@VentrueMinis true scions are also good at killing back. I'm letting them be the other team cause it'll help both players learn to use their strong weapons and be weary of them.
Yeah an in depth kommando video would be awesome. I'd love to start playing them myself soon!
Once I get more practice with them I really might! They've been my new favorite team this week.

Thank you for the suggestion, added to my sheet!

Thanks for this! Found it through a reddit comment you made and it's exactly what i was looking for!
Just starting Kill Team and found your channel. Some of the best and most useful content I've come across. Keep the videos coming!
thank you! Work's slowing down so I should be writing something up for the coming month :)
I always recommend Custodes for teaching/learning the game 😊
Looking forward to your next video! Will be linking this to anyone starting up! 😊

Vet Guard gang!
Just discovered your channel. Looking forward to any future KT coverage, especially for tau teams!

Good vid man! Keep it up!

@@Slipperbatter I'd totally say try something new and then COME BACK to Breachers! Try something new to give you some new confidence.
Solid advice!

Great Video. Maybe Legionaries all Nurgle might even be better than DG for a start? I found it hard to get to objectives with DG's low movement.
Of all the videos I didn’t think you’d call me out as a diamond valorant player getting into hobbying 😂
Former diamond valorsnt player here too! Kill Team is great for using that Valorsnt headspace weirdly enough.

Maybe we'll get an elite team with a Vet Guard Spotter soon 🤠🤠
The Compendium has many more beginner friendly teams that might not be super competitive but still are fun to play.
The 22 or 23 version. In torn on which one to get or both. Just got the octavius starter set about a week ago.
How would you suggest building out a Death Guard team for a complete beginner?
How did strike force Justian compare to the other teams you have suggested? They seem beginner friendly to me!

That seems like a great match up! Beware the AP2 Scion weapons like the plasma, good luck!
